Can someone tell me if I could've done something different and came out more cheaper? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! I went to wags tonight and bought the following using rr for the first time. fusion razor 8.99-4.00q = 4.99 fusion razor 8.99-4.00q = 4.99 fusion razor 8.99-4.00q = 4.99 glade 3 wick candle 4.99-3.00q = 1.99 glade 3 wick candle 4.99-3.00q = 1.99 lotion 1.99 I handed the man q first and then gave the (2) 6.00 rr and (1) 2.00 rr. They would only accept (1) 6.00 rr. It had something to do with using the man q. The cashier to me, was not able to explain clearly for me to understand whatever she was trying to explain. So, the total came to 18.74. I saved a total of 34.00 between wags saving and man q's and got another 6.00 rr that I remember on a post that the fusion was still rolling. I'm thinking I could've done better. What do ya'll think? |

just to clarify, did you do the razors in separate transactions? I was just wondering how you came up with the 18.xx if you did them separately? I would've paired the fusion with other FARR items, like fusion plus dentek so that will be 8.99 plus 2 so 10.99 and you can use your $4 MQ and $6 RR, pay .99 plus tax and get back $6 and $2 RRs (profit 1.01 before tax). FARR items usually print 1 RR per offer so even if you buy several of the same item, you get only 1 RR.

If you'd split it up into 3 transactions, you could have done: #1 & #2 1 Fusion Razor $8.99 - $4.00q = $4.99 1 Glade 3 Wick Candle $4.99 - $3.00 = $1.99 1 Cheap Filler Total: $6.98 + Filler + Tax Use 1 $6 Fusion RR OOP: $0.98 + Filler + Tax Receive: 1 x $6 Fusion RR for each transaction. #3: 1 Fusion Razor $8.99 - $4.00q = $4.99 1 Lotion $1.99 Total: $6.98 + Filler Use 1 $6 Fusion RR (From a previous transaction if checker will let you) OOP: $0.98 + Tax Receive: 1 x $6 Fusion RR Total OOP: $2.02 + 2 x Filler + 3 x Tax Or, if they won't let you use one of the $6 RR from a previous Transaction, then #3 would be: 1 Fusion Razor $8.99 - $4.00q = $4.99 1 Lotion $1.99 Total: $6.98 + Tax Use 1 $2 Register Reward OOP: $4.98 + Tax Receive: 1 x $6 Fusion RR Total OOP w/alternate #3: $6.94 + 2 x Filler + 3 x Tax I hope the above made sense. If not, I can try and split it another way. This would work for the above scenarios because the Fusion RR, if used on a Fusion MVP Razor will still print another Fusion RR. For the most part, that doesn't happen with Register Rewards. Some cashiers are okay with doing a couple (2-3) small transactions. Others don't want to. I tend to ask when I get up to the register, but then again, I don't usually do more than 2 transactions at a single store, since I can do a figure 8 and hit 7 Walgreens. HTH. You can only get 1 like item per transaction and still have the RR print. You should have done the razors seperately. You also needed 3 fillers for your 3 RRs (they are considered manu coupons). You only had 1 filler (lotion) so you could only use 1 RR.

Thanks for ya'lls help. I see what I did wrong. I forgot that rr were considered a man q. I didn't have enough fillers. I knew the minute I walked in the store, I wasn't going to do it right. I did everything in one transaction. I understand that if I did all 3 razors together, then I would only get one rr and that if I did it seperately, I would have gotten 3. I thought I read somewhere the order to hand q's and rr's. I was wanting to use the 14.00 rr's so as not to have alot of oop. After paying for items, I thought maybe I should have handed rr's first and then man q's. I'm still learning!

If I give a x/2 or x/3 MQ as the last coupon, I have observed in the stores I go to regularly that they attach to one item. if I give them right after my RRs, they attach to whatever number of items they are coded for. the last time I tried this was on the BOGO Quaker (2)1.25/2 MQs, I was able to use 2 RRs extra w/o fillers with the Quaker MQs given last and then the WAGc scanned. that was 4 items, 2 MQs that cover for 4 items but when given last, it attached to only 2 canisters so 2 RRs was accepted by register when given first. Just in case my MQs beep for exceeding number of items, I have less than .10 fillers to make up for the count. if there is no need for them, I put them back on the shelf. I just have them handy so I don't buy .25 or more priced fillers. once you learn how all these work, it will not be so hard. just be observant on what works and what don't. soon, you'll be a pro
