Plus we pay 7% tax which woul be 1.05 per meter. I would maybe buy 5 at a reasonable amount, otherwise I would only make 3.00 on each and not even know of the availability. Of course you could keep for a later deal.
I did buy extra papers so I do have a few which is great as my mom is diabetic and can always use.

My stores have a bunch of them behind the pharmacy counter as well. At one store I had to ask for a couple from someone working at the pharmacy.

i do the same thing m m s,sell just a few sets a week, enough to buy the ones i need later =D i usually have enough on hand, but sometimes there's some that i want more of.

i think that paying 1.00 a coupon when you know you will make 5.00 is not crazy. i would turn around and use most of that profit to buy pull ups for my 2 y/o, so it works for me.

btw, i'm 813jen91683 on ebay =)

I usually consider the amount the coupons are worth when figuring out how much is too much to pay.

For the Breeze coupons, 20 would give you $100 in RRs plus 20 completely free meters; worth $300 on sale or $1600 at the "regular" Walgreens price of $79.99. Each meter includes 10 testing strips, for a total of 200. I've read that the strips are worth a little more than $1 a piece for anybody who has to pay full price for them. So to a diabetic who needs to test frequently, that's $200 in free necessities.

I'd be donating to a family member and the local shelter, so the RRs are what I'd be getting the meters for. 15% of $100 isn't too bad when I look at it that way. I would have to be confident that I'd be able to get that many meters though. I wouldn't want to be limited to 5 or 10 due to limited stock on hand. We have about 30 stores in the area, so I've gathered about 40 coupons and should be able to get all of them. If I didn't have any coupons at all, I might buy them for that amount. It does seem a little bit high. What did the completed listings look like? Is that the normal price for that quantity?

true, always look at the completed listings to see what they are selling for. also, the date is far out, there would most likely be another deal that will come around too, in case you only can get a few at a time.

RR promo ends tonight.

there are some stores that will deduct value of RR but it won't do you good if you're using the $30 coupon. it might be 14.99 less $5 RR = 9.99, but with a free coupon that covers the whole price, that don't help any as far as getting RR. It would be nice if they let you pay 14.99 and $5 RR IOU/store credit. but that may be wishful thinking.
