I just got my WAGs run for the week done and I was told by the manager on duty that you are *never* *supposed* to get another RR when you pay with one. And, that if you do get another RR that it's a glitch and it isn't supposed to work that way. WHAT?! He went on to say that they are getting an all new system after Christmas/early next year. I'm afraid they're going to completely ruin our fun!Just thought I would mention it so we can all be preparing for the worst!

![]() Seems like a manager or cashier somewhere says this once a week at least. Doesn't ever seem to happen though. If he were right that it is a fluke, that is a pretty big flaw in their system and sites like this one and its competitors have surely given them a heads up by now so they could have fixed it. |

That is partly true, only when you are buying the exact same product the second time around. But obviously we know not to do that, right? So he is just misinformed.

I was told by the cashier in my least favorite wags here during the dove deal that they are "supposidly" supposed to be quitting the RR all together, but she said she didnt know when it was going to happen. But I have not heard this anywhere else other than there.

I am gonna enjoy my shopping at Wag's while I can, sounds like another manager who can't handle the savvy of a smart shopper. If they change things up it could actually hurt them then help them.

well if this happens, then i guess their business will go down a lot. Because that by us using the RR's they are getting a lot of business. |

Yes, this is posted about once a week or so here. I was actually told something very similar, and my sister posted about it. I went into my WAGs, and I asked the cashier working in cosmetics if there was truth to the fact that they were going to be stopping the RR program. She said that no, they weren't stopping it, but they were going to change the way it functions. She said that they are supposed to get new registers around the first of the year that are all touch-screen/high-tech (etc., etc, yada, yada), and that one of the things those registers are supposed to be able to do is to keep you from rolling. Now, according to her, it's not that you won't be able to roll AT ALL, it's that you will have to hold your RR for at least one day before you can roll it into another deal. So, for example, if you went in today and purchased a product (like Sheer Infusion) and got the RR ($7), then you would have to wait and go back in TOMORROW to roll it into another deal. Which I do believe that all the RR read something like "on your next shopping trip", so..... She told me that there is actually a "law" against the "rolling" of coupons, and that WAGs is trying to become compliant with that law. In conclusion, there may be some truth to this "rumor". I mean, I heard it almost verbatim what the OP posted, and if it's getting posted here every week or so, I can suspect that there is at least partial truth to it. Let's just hope that it's not as bad as we're fearing!! |

I had actually thought they were becoming more aware of the fact that people were using coupons with all the "make sure to look for extra savings in this sunday's paper" stuff that is now in all the print ads. So if you can't roll RR, then you can't really use much for coupons either. That would be an interesting way to kill off their business. But the manufacturers would just "love" that seeing as Wags does get reimbursed for all this stuff plus handling. Some manufacturers put out the coupons because they have unit number goals to reach and want/need to move the merchandise by a certain time. |

Here we go again. More b.s. from Wags cashiers. The way I see it, if Wags does away with RRs, I won't bother going there any more. It's bad enough that they did away with EasySaver. When they had that, I bought a ton of stuff. Now, with RRs that are good for only 2 weeks, I go a lot less and I'm thinking about giving up on RRs as well. CVS's Extra Bucks are good for a month!! Walgreens needs to realize that with prices as high as their prices are, they need incentives to get people in their stores. Hello!! Are you listening, Mr. Walgreens??

I would be fine with holding my RR a day and then using them later...I do that already ![]() so hopefully if they ever do change the system thats all they do to it! ![]() until then....I will roll away!

To be honest I don't believe any of it.. I can go shop at my Grocery store and get a coupon back and use it right then on my next order.. same thing with CVS..

I can understand a use between date and rolling the same Mfr, but to say that if you use a unilever RR to pay for a proctor and gamble product and you won't get a p&g RR because unilever said so? Yeah right.

one cashier at a brand spankin new wags near me told me "you know you can't use that rr today, otherwise if everyone did that we would be giving away merch for free". i told her thank you and rolled it at the wags down the block!
