I took my best friend to Walgreens tonight to show her how to use the coupons and RRs to pay little for a lot of items. She was amazed. Here was my purchase, nothing special, but I think I got away with something I shouldn't have...

-2.00 off any two Glade Products (found in last refill I bought)

I paid $1.46 after tax. Got 1 RR from Glade, 7RR from Vaseline, 2.50RR from Robitussin

I gave the coupon for $2 off 2 glade products last. It beeped and I thought it might. Because I used the 2.00 off the holder and this 2.00 off was for two products. I said "Oh, I don't know why it would I bought 2 Glade products." And after a little bit the cashier said he'd manually push it through. I hope he doesn't get in trouble for that. I thought technically it would work, but I hope Glade will redeem the coupons for them. They should right?

Also, I first stood in line at the cosmetics counter. I went late at night so it wouldn't be too busy. There was a man at the register purchasing a lot of Robitussin, Arm and Hammer Deoderant, and Fructis (which I notice had RRs that I never heard about). He had a stack of coupons and RRs on the counter and I assume he was doing multiple transactions because he still had many items still in his cart. I was amazed to see someone else doing this and especially to the degree that he was. Good for him and I'm glad to see some of my local Wal's cashier's putting up with us crazy couponeers.

Technically you should have purchased 3 Glade products to use the coupons you did. I have not a clue if the cashiers get in trouble for these types of things. I would think it would be hard to track per transaction. But I really don't know!

My Wags has 3 cameras in the check-out area and they make the cashiers sign the coupons that they accept from customers. It's only been open a few months and I've only seen one other person do some serious couponing - I wonder what the paranoia is?

One store manager told me they've gotten fraudulent coupons. The cashier had to call him over for my printed coupons just to verify that they were good to accept. At another store, they just scan them and if they work, that's it.
