Fyi Wags coupons vs items policy

I went to wags yesterday and bought 8 items, used 7 coupons (one was for 2 items) and they told me I couldn't use any RR's because you can only use one coupon per item. Has anyone else had that problem? I thought RR's were supposed to be like cash?!

you were told correctly... that's why you will see posts about "fillers" here in this forum... RRs are manufacturer's coupons and you can't use more manu qs than the number of items you have. hth.

Sorry... At Wags, RRs count as coupons (It even says it on the RR - if you can manage to read the annoyingly small orange print on the back)

I have found that any coupon that is $$/2 attaches itself to both items. So in the convoluted world of RR's any coupon that is off two winds up counting as 2 coupons and when you are trying to use RR's you have to factor this into your coupon count.

All these rules are part of why I don't do Wags very often lately - only when the deals are so good I can't resist.

I also heard somewhere that you also have to give the coupon that is for 2 items last (but before Wags Q's) so that it does not attach itself to more than one item. RR's 1st, than Man Q's, then man Q's w/ more than one item, than Wags Q's. Of course, that's if your cashier lets you. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I've done that before with the $1/2 trident. It worked just fine.

I went yesterday and had a pencil filler and the cashier forgot to put the pencil on my order. Haha. We checked the receipt and put the pencil on then my $8 RR and I walked out paying under $2 Wooohoo! I love Wags this week!

At Walgreens, if you have coupons for everything you are buying, you need to add a filler(anything you don't have a coupon for(bread)).
And second rule. Total of everything after other coupons has to be equal to or more than the rr.(before tax)(rr do not cover tax).

So if you have 5 $5 items with coupons for each for $3 equals $10 after plus tax(can use up to $10 worth of rr, but have to add a noncoupon item(pencil, glass, candy bar, etc.)(1 per rr, 4 rr - 4 items more). It you don't have a coupon for something you are buying great, should work if total $$ more than.

Ok. I think I got it now. I went to Wags yesterday to purchase the Northern Bathroom Tissue $3.99 had $1Q and also found Airwick Imotion on sale for 50% off priced at $3.99 had $4 Q. The cashier told me that my Q for Airwick was not for that product. I had her call the mgr over and we went to the shelf and I informed him that my Q was for more than the price of the item. He went on to tell me that was why it beeped and would not go through. He told me that "he could not legally take my coupon" and "that if they did they would not make anything off of the item." He went on to tell me that "he doesn't use coupons" as if that made him better than me. His suggestion was that I could come back today when the sale is off and use my Q to get it at the same price. If I am understanding the previous posts I should have bought a "filler" and the Q would have gone through. Right?
