Can a rr or coupon be used twice?
Can a coupon or rr be used twice? A cashier mistakenly put a rr that she scanned backinto my bag - I was too chicken to try to use it again - also what about coupons you find left at self checkouts - willthey scan again?

I wouldn't try it-I would give it back to the cashier or to the store and let them know the day/time it happened, because that cashier's register will be short.

I agree! I would also go back to the store or call and let them know what happened. If not the cashier will be out and depending on how much the rr was for she could be in trouble. Just my 2 cents. It is good karma to be honest.

I am with the other posters, they count just like cash in the register, so the cashier's drawer will be "short"...Better to make sure that that cashier is your friend for life than cause her to have to make up the difference! xoxoxox

If the store treats you well and you intend to shop there often,

I suggest you come back and give the RR to the SM while explaining that it was mistakenly given back to you. That way, it will not be counted against the cashier.

RRs are like any MQ that has to be turned in to clearinghouse for reimbursement. The cashier may have confused the RR with WAG roto ad coupons like IVC, 7dWAGc, pharmacy booklets, etc. WAGc don't have to be turned in to clearinghouse and they are just thrown away if customers hand them to cashiers.

Most likely, if you go to the SM, s(h)e may tell you its okay and you can keep the RR. Whether they take it or not, they will always remember you as the honest customer. Aside from that, you will feel good knowing you did the right thing and cashier doesn't get into trouble for it, too.
