Overly Simple Walgreens Question

To get good at my new job of couponing, I've devoted some time to learn (educate myself) to what I can from AFC... and yet, I have an overly simple question regarding Walgreens.

I've d/l the pdf of their 33 page coupon flier, but - is there a place or way to get a hard copy? Meaning, can I get my hands on paper coupons of this somewhere? I looked at our local store and online at the WG's website, found none. Do I need to ask for it? Or are the only coupons the ones we print out? Am I asking enough confusing questions?

Which is fine, I just need coupons for toner and paper then, right? (Making a joke - ha, ha...)

I have so appreciated the openness to share here. I hope to find some great deal or coupon and bring it back here to all of you! I like to share my secrets! I hope to start a stockpile this week!

Thanks!

Vicki

Just go into the store - the Easysaver catalogs are on display right where you walk in. I just re-read your post and saw that they are not on display in your store? They should be right by the stand that holds the weekly ad. I would ask a manager or cashier - they should be right there for you to pick up

this is already the 2nd week of the March ES, I'm wondering why they have not put it out at your store(s)? Hopefully, you were just looking at the wrong spot. They should be by the entrance at the rack holding the weekly sales ads, if you don't see any there, ask your friendly beauty advisor (BA) or the SM for one.

Good luck!

yep. don't waste the ink and paper! Haha! For sure ask the manager and get a hard copy that way. . don't know if you know this or not, but when you use the coupons in the book, you don't have to cut them out. the cashier will scan them and you can keep your hard copy. HTH!

The really cool thing at the Walgreen's I frequent is that if you buy 10 bottles of XYZ and there's a coupon for $1 off, when they scan the booklet, it takes $10 off your bill :-)

Love it!

BTW, it's a little booklet, only 3-4 inches wide and maybe 7-8 inches tall, usually a row of them is upright in front of the weekly ads . . . If you're not sure what you're looking for, the size could throw you off!!! (PS, numbers are not my strong point--I'm guessing at the measurements!!!)

Thanks for all the comments. Sure enough - there it was: the Easy Saver booklet, next to the weekly fliers. I think in our little village, the secret is to go in the beginning of the month. I went and started my stockpile with just 3 items. It is a little silly, but - 3 is a start and I have to start somewhere.

I got Garnier Fructise shampoo and conditioner (on sale for $2.99 each) and a roll of paper towels orig .89 :

GF S & C <$4.00>
Tuff PT < .30>
----------------------
Coupons <$4.30>
WAG sale <$2.00>

TOTAL Saved was $6.30

I was happy and actually controlled myself from getting those Glade thingies. I reasoned that it was better to have clean hair and have food to eat than have good smells lingering. Plus I am going to hit Trader Joe's and Target today... There is the whole reason of using coupons and being on a budget due to financial challenges. IMHO... for me - it's hard to not use a coupon when I see a good deal.

Thanks again. I learn so much here... this is an education in itself. (Smile)
