Can anyone tell me if Waldbaum's doubles coupons and up to what amount? I haven't been able to find the info on their website. How often to they do triples? Thanks.

They will double 4 like coupons up to .99(X2=$1.98). So if you have 5 edge .75/1~they would only double 4 of the 5. The 5th coupon would NOT double. I was told that was the only limit.

Triple seem to be happening every 6-8 weeks.

Thanks, NoahsMomma. I went ahead and contacted them online last night and got this response: "Coupons are doubled or tripled when advertised by the store only. Not all stores or areas double coupons and the amounts vary from .50 to .99. We do not accept internet or comptetitors' coupons." I didn't know a major chain store could vary like that between locations.

I don't live near a Waldbaum's, but I'm trying to help out a relative. There doesn't seem to be much traffic on this forum. Is it b/c there aren't many good deals? Is there a better chain on LI for grocery deals?

Not sure, It's been a really long time since I was on LI on a regular basis. We almost always went to Waldbaums but my cousin always swore by Associated. I think that Stop&Shop is out there now too.
