Not that we travel much, but it is good to have someone who knows this stuff able to help us all out.

Pack your layers! T-shirt/Long sleeve/sweatshirt/jacket ... take a pair of gloves, the stretch ones that you can get at the Dollar Store...and an umbrella.

Last year, I sent people at the beginning of September and they had 60 and 70 degree weather.

Depends on where you are leaving out of...

If you are going in and out of a Non-U.S. port, yes, you need your passport.

If you are going in and out of a U.S. port, then all you will need is your birth certificate (Official, State Issued) and your valid photo ID. BUT please understand if for any reason you were to get 'stuck' at an island, or in Mexico, you can NOT fly out of the island without a passport...
