Disney World Ticket Discounts for Military Personnel

Starting January 4, 2009

Active and Retired U.S. Military, also includes members of the U.S. Coast Guard and activated members of the National Guard or Reservists. They may obtain one complimentary 5-Day Disney's Armed Forces Salute Ticket (Base Ticket with the Park Hopper® option and Water Park Fun & More Option) the no expiration option is not available with this tickets. In addition the military member may also purchase 5-Day Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion Tickets for up to five (5) family members and/or friends for $99 plus tax (Park Hopper® Option and Water Park Fun & More Options may be purchased for an additional $25 + tax for each option - the no expiration option is not available with these tickets). These tickets are valid through December 23, 2009.

Military Personnel must present valid United States Military identification (active or retired). Activated members of the National Guard or Reservists must present active duty orders in addition to valid Military ID. Sales locations should refer to the Military ID Reference Sheet for verification. Military personnel must have been active for any length of time between Jan. 1, 2008 and the end of Dec. 23, 2009.

Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Pass


Active Military personnel with proper ID (includes active U.S. Coast Guard and activated members of the National Guard or Reservists) are eligible to receive Disney Ticket discounts. Military personnel can also purchase Disney tickets for up to 5 members of their family. Guests in the Military can purchase these tickets at "Shades of Green." YOU MUST PRESENT VALID ID IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THESE PASSES. Your Military discounted passes can be picked up at the Made in the Shade store located at Shades of Green.

Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Pass

The Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Tickets are offered for Shades of Green guests or guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. The Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes Ticket includes admission for the specified days to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon, Disney Quest and
Wide World of Sports.

For Military personnel who are staying offsite, discounted tickets are sold at Military bases. You can also get specially priced tickets via -

I've been thinking about Disney tickets lately, but isn't $99 per ticket higher than the price at the gate?

Um, no. A 5 day pass is about $222. One day is $75. I am sure there are some other discounts out there, but this is the best I have seen. When you take off my husbands ticket (because he is free) this is going to save us about $750!
