I know that there arent many around like this store and if you havent been to one its neat to go, but they have such interesting stuff. Sometimes on some things their prices are high but otherwise its an interesting high quality type grocery store!!

I love it too! They don't take coupons, but they do have some great products - and I really find they are very competitive, especially comparing them to Whole Foods!

Have you ever tried their Charles Shaw wine (also know as Two Buck Chuck)? It's cheap and it's pretty good.

You may want to double check their coupon policy. Our Trader Joe's (Norther California) does take manufacture coupons. A lot of their items are packaged under the Trader Joe's brand, but if you are lucky enough to find a name brand item (like Laughing Cow cheese) and pair it with a coupon, it is usually a pretty good deal.

I really wish we had a Trader Joe's in Colorado! In college the 2 buck chuck was all I ever drank because, well, it was $2.

Monica, Are you sure that yours doesn't take coupons? I use them there all of the time. Especially on Ricemilk.

I heart Trader Joe's! The closest one to us is about an hour and a half drive but I can't wait to go in 2 weeks! We also make car pool trips there w/ my mommy's group. Get a van full of moms and the trunk full of coolers and off we go! YUMMY!

There were peelies on the almond milk there last night and I used the coupon. I have used other coupons there too.
Our state doesnt allow them to sell liquor so no @ Buck CHuck here. BUt I have seen it in California

When I lived in metro DC, there were 4 TJs within driving distance...now that I'm in NC, I have to drive 15 miles to get to the only one around!! Oh well, still worth the milage!!

Sounds like fun! I just don' think I could afford the gas... Nearest stores are northern New Mexico (Albuquerque or Santa Fe) or Georgia in the Atlanta area. Oh, yeah, I'm in Texas...

I love Trader Joe's! I'm from the DC area and like SGSumy said there are lots of TJ's in the area which is convenient. We're a fan of the $2 buck chuck and you can't beat their cheese selection!

I agree!! I always find a ton of foods to try. Plus, I often find that their prices are the same and sometimes better than buying the same food at a store like Meijer. For example, I was looking at the yogurt just the other day and noticed it's full price at Trader Joes is the sale price at Meijer!

this is my FAVORITE store on the planet!!! In fact, I'm headed out there in about 5 minutes, . I've never tried to use coupons (but I think I'm gonna take some of the Hansen's and give it a try). Their frozen foods are amazing. Thank goodness I have a 2nd freezer! Their meat is a little pricey, but worth it if you can afford to splurge. (Try the Bool Kogi).
