Awesome! I will be starting small soon and hope our Tops isn't too strict with their coupon policy. I read somewhere on the forum that someone takes advantage of the self-checkout. That's a pretty good idea! Do you collect the list of prices yourself? Or do they have the list on their website? haha sorry if they're dumb questions noob here.

There are NO DUMB QUESTIONS! I don't believe TOPS has pricing on their website. So when I do the Match-Ups, they are taken from what is listed in the ad. HTH!

And dont cut anything until you need it! It makes life so much easier to just write the date on the insert in sharpie and wait until you find a sale. It takes way less time and its helpful when people cross reference the source
For example SS 4/1 is the Smartsource insert from that Sunday's paper

I hope to go out for the first time in 1-2 weeks. We normally spend a little over $100 when we grocery shop so if I can cut that down that would be great and if I mess up it's not devastating.

Another question: how many blinkies does one take? I know not all but how many do you take.

Btw $.55 blinkies at tops for soy milk. I didn't grab any so I don't know the specifics

So if I ad matches one I could post the deal up in a thread that is strictly deals. When I do my first haul I'll probably list my shopping list and coupons so maybe I can get a few experienced people to look over it.

I personally limit myself to (4) Blinkies because TOPS only doubles (4) like coupons per transaction, but you have to watch with Blinkies because many of the barcodes start with a 9 and they will not double at the register.

The current thread for next weeks deals is Here. You can post anything you think is a good deal in the ad with matching coupons right in that thread. Then I will add it to the first post so everyone can see.

As far as your own list goes, feel free to start your own thread right here in the TOPS forum. This way all the TOPS shoppers will see it and can give you input!
