A friend of mine forwarded me the $8 off any perdue chicken about a week ago. After reading the Perdue thread on here I forwarded her some information back explaining the were not legit. Today she forwards them back to me (along with several others for free Folgers, Pepsi and Pizza) saying they have been successfully used at Harris Teeter, Food Lion, and Lowes food.

This was my response to her...I tried to be sweet but wanted to make a point........

"Thanks sugar… but…just because they are being used successfully doesn’t make them legit. People use counterfeit money successfully but doesn’t make it legal. Not worth the embarrassment for me if I was questioned about them…thanks for thinking of me though."

Obiviously the first email from me didn't discourage her since she sent them back to me so this was my way of politely saying don't send them to me anymore. I'm not willing to ruin my reputation at stores that know me as a "good couponer".

Great response on your part! I get these forwards all the time and always respond that they're not legit, but I know alot of people don't listen...they'd rather use them and get the stuff free.
