Update OrthoWhite and BriteTeethPro Scams

I read an article on CNN.com about a mother who found a very low cost alternative to professional teeth whitening by taking part in a free trial. All you pay is the S&H. Wow! What a deal I thought and quickly jumped on the band wagon.

I ordered a free trial from both Ortho White for $1.00 and Brite Teeth Pro for $2.49. I got my trials very quickly and started to use them. Then, 10 days later, I see an charge from Ortho White for $78.41! I call the company and they tell me, "Sorry, had you cancelled within 8 days of your order then your account would have been cancelled". The fine print is misleading. Although it does say that you recieve a full month's supply, what they don't really make clear is that they send it with your free trial and that you'll get charged for it too!

I got no where with the company and I'm forced to do a credit care dispute. Once I got this upsetting news I looked into my Brite Teeth Pro free trial and found that the same thing was going to happen with that but I managed to cancel it before the 14 day trial period was up. Thankfully.

Beware consumers. This deal was too good to be true.

****I've done some research on this company and have read many complaints like mine. BBB.org has a bad grade for the business.****
