I recieved 2 coupons in an email from a family member who knows very little about coupons. She recieved the coupons from a co-worker. The coupons are pdf's.

One is for "Good for One FREE 1lb. package of VELVEETA Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, any variety".

The other is for "This coupon is good for ONE FREE ROLL of Reynolds Wrap Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil 50 sq. ft.".

These coupons look fake to me. Is there any way I can verify if they are real or fake? I would post the pics of the coupons but I don't know how. Any ideas on what to do about this? Thanks in advance.

I emailed the coupons to the CIC and they told me that the Velveeta coupon is also counterfit. I assumed it was but it never hurts to check. Thanks for all the help!

These are still making the rounds. I got them today from a friend who knows *I* coupon, but she is just learning... I told her they were fakes...

My neighbor brought them over to me the other day. I told that that they were fakes and she was shocked because she has a HUGE stock pile of free velveeta and foil!

Maybe she could take the Velveeta and foil back to the store and give them back and apologize and explain that she didn't know they were fake when she used them.

These went around about a month ago too. The day after I had them sent to me I was at Kroger and seen them hanging at the register and said DO NOT TAKE!! The cashier told me they had just got the signs that very day. I was glad I didn't try to use them before I found out they were fake. I have a rule for myself that if it doesn't come with a link to the actual site of the product, I don't use any thing that says free on it. I might miss out on some good deals but, I'd rather be safe than sorry!!!!

This kind of thing makes it difficult for the ones who have the coupons that are legit. A lot of stores are not taking internet coupons because of this very reason.

Funny, these just now hit my area. The ladies at the newspaper office asked me if I had the two FREES and then told me about them and that you could print as many as you wanted. I told them they were probably fake- they sent me the email and I just knew. I then remembered that about a month earlier or so one of the CSM's stopped me to see if I had any of the FAKE Velveeta coupons

if you type in the words : free velveta coupon or the free aluminum foil...
you see on Google the SNOPES link...
a red flag that likely you got a snoocker coupon!

I got this in an email from my boss yesterday b/c she knows I coupon and she sent it out to alot of other people as well. I have sent her the links to the counterfeit information so she can send out to the people she sent to and to the one that sent it to her.
