I have a BROTHER Printer that only prints in black and white, but it isn't showing the security features that coupon companies are putting on coupons. I can't use these coupons at Kroger, without the security emblems showing. I really don't want to buy another printer at this time.

Is there a way to fix this on my printer? Thanks.

Did you check to see if there is a new driver available from the brother website? Or to contact brother customer service, they may have a patch to fix it.

The most recently denied coupon was the Smart Butter $1.60 coupon from couponnetwork.com

hmm.. When my brother Acts funny ( which is alot) i usually turn it off and then back on and let it go through it;s cleaning cycle.. i usually go into the menu and do the print functions for alignment , quality etc and and a few more cleanings . do some test prints.. . Then try to print a coupon ..

PS i have issues with coupon network coupons at certain stores as well.. I think some stores/cashiers think all coupons look like Coupons dot com coupons..

I've had problems at Kroger with the coupons.com q's, as well. The cashier is looking for a security emblem in the middle of the coupon. I wonder if the black and white printer can't create this emblem.

when i print B&W they show up.. My brother printer doesnt printer wont print blue or yellow.. So all my Q's are black n pink.. But I never have issues with those 2 colors.. but that black coded thingy is there ..

Again, my printer is only black and white. I could get a color printer, but love this printer since I usually can go a whole year with 1 cartridge.

I understand that.. it was more of a comment on Brother Printers and what happens Mine is 9yrs old.

When i have funny things happen to my printer Google was my friend.. i had error codes and all kinds of issues.. I found a reset code through google.. it is worth a shot..

My wife helped me figure out the problem. I didn't have the Watermark setting on.
