| Mac printing help, please!
I'm getting a bit desperate and would appreciate any suggestions you might have. After printing RedPlum, coupons.com, and bricks coupons online for a few months, I have suddenly encountered a problem this morning. When I try to print on my Mac (System 10.4.11) using Safari (v. 4.0.4), I get an error message, "Coupon Printer Not Installed." This is what I have tried: *Uninstalled and reinstalled the coupon printer plug-in multiple times. Restarted computer after installation. *Cleared cache and deleted all cookies. Restarted computer. *Updated to Safari 4.0.4. *Updated Java. *Tried printing on Firefox. My printer is otherwise functioning normally, and I can print other documents on and off line. Before the problem occurred, I had made no changes to my hardware or software. I can print coupons from SmartSource.com. Do you have any suggestions?

If it makes you feel any better, I am in the exact same boat. I can print from everyone except coupons dot com and couponbug dot com. This just started not working for me this week as well, and I also have Mac 10.4.11 with Safari 3.0.4. I get upgrade updated on Fridays, so I am hoping when I do my upgrades when prompted tomorrow it fixes this. My guess is they changed something in their system and it doesn't work with Safari now. I have downloaded Firefox before for something else, but it didn't work well so I uninstalled it. I might have to look back at getting Firefox again. I wish they would have made another version of IE for the Mac so we didn't have to struggle like this.

I'm sorry you're having the same trouble. I've tried printing with Firefox, and that's not working for me either. I've emailed RedPlum for assistance, and I'll post here if I get a helpful response.

Hmmmm....that's odd. Mine are still printing. However, I am running 10.5.8 so maybe that has something to do with it??? I hope it gets fixed soon!!

I printed some earlier this week but I think I also have 10.5.8. I know I previously had a problem printing smartsource coupons with safari, but they worked with firefox. The last time I printed from smartsource, though, I was able to print from safari.

Me too, it just started today. I emailed them and they said "my platform is supported." Please reinstall. As if I didn't do that 3 times before I emailed!!! ![]() Well, hopefully they fix it. It's so annoying... |

OK, here's a weird thing... I was just able to print a coupons.com coupon housed on the Pillsbury site. Hm. So it must be bricks, coupons, and couponbug that have the issue... |

Do you have snow leopard? If you do, thats the problem.. I have mac/windows computer and can only print with the windows side.. The snow leopard and coupon printing sites aren't compatible.

Snow Leopard is OS 10.6. I heard about not being able to print coupons with Snow Leopard so I didn't upgrade yet.

check for an update for your printer software. that fixed my problems a while back. Good Luck! |

I sent a very long email to coupons dot com with all of our comments about our systems so they know it isn't just "me" that is having an issue. I have tried printing to three different printers, one is twenty years old, one is around a year old and the other is two weeks old, so I don't think it is the printer.

| My Mac too
Mine stopped working yesterday as well. No coupons.com or bricks work. I downloaded Firefox and I get the same problems there. On coupons.com, it keeps asking me to install the printer (though I've installed at least 10 times). On other sites with Bricks coupons it keeps giving me instructions written for Windows machines to turn off the printer setting used to "keep printed documents".

Still not working here. No response from the help email either. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. Looks like a lot of Mac users will be unable to print if they don't.

Went to print today an it is NOW telling me to instal the coupon printer!!!! Anyone else have any luck?

Nothing is working yet, so I am having to print from our PC with Vista instead. Real bummer because I use to be able to print from three computers, but with two of them being Macs -10.4.11 looks like I am down to only one now. At least I can still print Target web coupons. I have to be positive. But I am very dismayed that I never received a response to the email I sent Friday morning.

Nothing new here either - still can't print. I sent a long email Friday afternoon to Red Plum since they use the same printer installation (email address is wecare, so we'll see how much they care). FYI my system is 10.4.11 and Safari 4.0.4. I've scoured the Apple forums to see if there is any new discussions there but haven't seen anything yet. If this goes on much longer I'll post a question there.

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one. I'm having the same problem on my Mac and was so frustrating. I'm also using 10.4.11, Firefox 3.5.7, or Safari 4.0.4. I hope they fix it soon.

It looks like the problem is confined to System 10.4.11. I'm still able to print on my husband's Mac, but he's running 10.5.8. I did hear back from RedPlum last week, but it was a most unhelpful "help" reply--just a series of questions that either aren't relevant to Macs or that I'd answered in my initial email. I did respond to their questions, but I haven't heard anything since.
