I found a tearpad at the cosmetics counter (at Walgreens) today for $2.00 off Softsoap Ensembles Hand Soap Reusable Pump or Disposable Base 8.6 oz

Expires 11/1/09

It's a manu. Q, but it says it's redeemable at Walgreens.

I'm not sure how much these cost, but...they could go on sale! So, I snagged 5 (didn't want to be greedy ).

I also found this tearpad at my Wags. I thought since it said it was a manu. Q, I would try to use it at another store. I used it at Kmart last night with no beeps or problems to get a FREE disposable base. Now I wish I'd picked up a couple more.

I wondered if you could use it elsewhere. Now that I look at the "fine print" it does say:

"Reedemable at Food, Drug, Discount and other Stores accepting coupons."

I saw this, too, but have never seen the product. Since WAGS usually does not keep these out, I was very surprised. I took two, since there are other people who probably want a coupon as well. I'm guessing the reason they keep them behind the counter is to try to prevent "vultures." If I see the product, I'll be ready. And like you, I thought there would probably be some sort of promotion coming up.

Wasnt there a mnfctr Q out this past weekend for $3 off the base wyb a refill or something like that as well??? Saw this Q will see if they still have it when I go back later int he week.

The coupon you are referring to is $3.00 off the base when you buy a pump. The pump costs around $6.00 each and the base costs around $3.00 each at Target. At CVS, the pump costs a whopping $7.99. IMHO, the Ensembles products are totally overpriced for what you get. Once you buy a pump, you don't have to buy the replacement base. You can just refill your existing base with any liquid soap. Of course, if you can get the base for free or nearly free with coupons, then it makes sense to buy the base.

none of my WAGS ever puts Q's out...I think they hoard them! but I will look anyway. If anyone can snag a few for me I'd be happy to trade stamps or Q's for them...thanks!
