| Good! There needs to accountability in and out of the standard classroom! I now I have family that homeschools and every time we go to Disney and see a show she is marking down Social Studies or Science hours. Sometimes both for the same event. They go skiing and it is a Science field trip as is making a snowman. |

It's illegal! That is why there are laws established for different states regarding homeschooling. In this state, the public schools or their "administrators" have NO RIGHTS to dictate to homeschooling families. Ergo, they are not allowed to question what a homeschooling family teaches their children or HOW they teach their children. While there are families out there that opt to use Homeschooling as a blanket to cover other more devious acts (such as abuse, etc), it is not up to the Public Schools to determine these issues. So in short, NO...It's NOT good, and for those who are not homeschoolers, it's none of your business how or why a family chooses to homeschool. |
