FREE Bandaids

With the Bandaid coupon for $1.00 off in this weeks paper + the $5.00 off coupon from Target that was in the paper a few weeks back (buy 5 specific products get $5.00 off). You can get 5 boxes of the kids bandaids for FREE + $0.03 overage per box. This is how the deal worked out tonight:

$9.85 = 5 kids boxes of Bandaids $1.97 each
-$5.00 = 5 $1.00 bandaid coupons from todays paper
-$5.00 = 1 Target coupon from a couple weeks back (some areas didn't get this coupon)

$0.15 in overage = FREE Bandaids

My students would almost rather have a cool bandaid than a sticker...there always seems to be a place to put a cool bandaid.

If you don't have the Target $5 coupon (like me), you can use the coupon towards the trial size bandaids and still get them for free!

Free just got even better!

I went to do the deal again...fun. This is how it worked out with the newest sale price of $1.77 per box:

$8.85 = 5 boxes of kids bandaids
- $5.00 = 5 $1.00 coupons from this weeks inserts
- $5.00 = Target coupon that was in the inserts a couple weeks ago (some places didn't have them
-$1.15 = overage to use on something else

I was surprised to do the whole transaction without a beep. I did the $1.00 coupons 1st then the $5.00.

BandAid coupons?

How do you get multiple newspaper coupons? Do you have multiple subscriptions or do people who don't use coupons (gasp!) give them to you?

If there is a specific coupon I am looking for, I will either ask for it in the the ISO (in search of) forum, or I will look on ebay, or from a coupon clipping service like coupon clippers. Sometimes paying .15 or so for a coupon is worth it to get the item for free!

I usually get a set of inserts from my neighbors (2), my mother in law (1), (I give them freebies from time to time and they think it's a great deal) and then I get a couple papers. I usually like to have at least 6 inserts to do the multiples deals. I always go get my first paper on Saturday when I'm out finishing up last weeks deals...see what deals are in there and then that determines how many papers I get. Always check your papers to make sure they have all the inserts.

I have made a trade but that was for a tear pad coupon.

I haven't ever purchased coupons but it seems like a good way too.

I figure for $1.75 if there are good coupons in there...I will more than make that money back. I usually get them at CVS or Walgreens in with a bigger deal so I don't pay out of pocket. Lesson I learned here on AFC.

I did this deal with the .50 (before the 1.00 came out) and every single coupon beeped. I felt so bad for the cashier becuase he could only use one hand (there was something wrong with his other hand) he kept scanning and pressing K1. Did anyone else had the .50 coupon beeping?
