So 2 packs of these for $11ish would be equal to 6 packs of wags for $18. Plus it takes up less roll. |

There is only 328.8 square feet in the MEGA package of TP at Target that's on sale this week. So, I'm not too sure it's a good deal after all. In the WAGS package there is 193.2 square feet. There might be a difference in the plies... the WAGS Cottonelle being 1-ply and the Target Cottonelle being 2-ply. So, it would only take about 1 ($3) plus 3/4 of a 2nd package ($2.25) of the WAGS Cottonelle to be equal to the 1 MEGA package of Cottonelle at Target. To get roughly equal amounts, you'd spend about 5.25 at Wags (3+2.25) and $5.74 at Target. So IMO a better deal at Wags. However, if plies matter to you... I did a 2-ply comparison's sake.. the 12 double roll pack of Cottonelle on sale this week ($4.99 after $1/1 coupon) at Kroger's Mega Sale has 321 square feet vs 328 square feet in the MEGA pack at Target ($5.74). Still cheaper at Kroger because it's virtually the same amount. That's why I no longer use # of rolls to decide if the price is good or not. Not all rolls have the same amount of TP in them. All in all, I had high hopes for this Target sale, and now I think I'm going to skip it! |

I thought the same thing on the sq ft with Wags but then I realized I have Target gift cards from previous promos, so my OOP is lower and that's what I was really shooting for. I am going to treat this scenario at Target like when I can roll my RR's for lower OOP.

What's the best deal for sq ft when it comes to t.p. I have been doing .25 a roll And not paid attention to the size because I wasn't sure.

The standard is usually .01 cents per sq ft. So let's say a pack of TP has 355.2 sq feet. You'd want to move the decimal over to the left 2 spaces to figure out the amount you'd need to pay, which would be $3.552 ($3.55) or multiply 355.2 x 0.01 and you'll get $3.552, which is $3.55 Does that make sense. It is hard to do... but can be done. Last time I was able to buy in mass quantities at the .01 sq/ft rule was when I had $1/1 Cottonelle coupons, there was a $1/1 coupon in the Wags Booklet AND there was a register reward to go along with... NOW that made for some cheap TP |
