| School Supplies
I picked up a few schools supplies that I usually have a hard time finding because they run out. I picked up the pocket and brad folders for $0.15, spiral notebooks for $0.17, and the composition notebooks for $0.50. Very good deals. Now I am just waiting for the rest of it to go on sale. I'll probably be buying dry erase markers next, because around here we always run out.

I was at a Target yesterday and they had about half of the supply bins stocked. 2 packs of glue sticks for a quarter were tempting since my rising first grader will probably be told to bring at least ten sticks, but I restrained myself and decided that I would go home and make a list of what I have (or don't) since I still have a full tote of supplies from hitting sales every week last July LOL. DS' school will sell you a prepared box of supplies for $60, I just chuckle because last year I think I spent maybe $20 (excluding DD's backpack and binder) for two elementary age kiddos. Coupons. Rock. My. World. |

Yes my kiddos school sells those too. But it's not any cheaper, it a lot more expensive. My stockpile is gone so I have to start fresh. My plan is to get what they need first and stockpile at the end.

Do you have access to Office Max? Here is my plan for getting started this week: 25c four pack of White Glue Sticks (limit 3) 50c composition notebooks (limit 5) $1 1 inch Durable Binders (limit 2) If you buy the limit of each of the above items ($5.25) you can get 10 free folders (with or without fasteners) Also if you are a member of Office MaxPerks program, you can get reams of Boise photocopy paper for $6.29 and receive $6.28 in perks back (limit 2) Not a bad start and then you can roll the perks for future week's purchases to keep the OOP down |

I do have an Office Max and a Staples. I'll definitely have to check that out and hop on board ASAP. Thanks for the tips. I didn't see those ads in my paper :-(
