My target won't price match anything . CVS and Rite Aid is a no because "you need a store rewards card to get the price", Big Lots is a no because "they're not a competitor store" I actually asked about this one once because there is a Big Lots 2 doors down so how is that not a competitor and the mgr said "I don't know it's just not on the list". The only one that my local store will allow is Walgreens that I know of.

I know! Their PM policy is quite worthless bec you need a rewards card just about everywhere these days. I can see them not price matching a store like Costco where you have to pay a membership fee but drugstore and grocery store rewards cards are free! Ive successfully pm'd Walgreens, Walmart, Toys R Us and Office Supply stores like Staples etc. but its a pain.

I've gotten the competitor story before. But then Target compared themselves to Kohls. I told them they weren't that far up the food chain to be comparable to Kohls

It is difficult to do ad match @ Target for sale prices like 2/$3 which they say is a bulk price so they don't match those. Huh? if others think WM is difficult, try Target and you'll know what difficult means

I shop at a very coupon friendly store. That is until last week when I asked for the first time about ad matching. It was just obviously something they didn't want to do. Wasn't the end of my world so I let it go. But definitely a lesson learned.
