Hi guys!

Let's liven this place up a bit, huh? Do you have any ideas on how we can make the Target forum YOUR favorite place on AFC?

Any and all ideas and suggestions are welcome

I have to admit CVS and target are my favs hands down. Walgreens and walmart will be shopped at occasionally, but I try to get to T and C at least once a week.

That being said target has been kinda pissing me off since the coupon policy change, and most things just don't seem like as much of a bargain compared to the deals at drugstores. I've had the most problems/attitude from target employees than anywhere else! It's like they're allowed to be jerks to customers, I've never once gotten a reply from CS for multp emails and really dont feel like calling. Couponing within target is the hardest because they make up rules on the spot and SO MANY coupons are so vague it's impossible to argue (glade seasonal item? 3/20 beauty purchase? revlon costmetics purchase?).

But on the other hand shopkick gives you so many points for walking into target all the time and target has so many IPS that im torn.

I spend a lot of time on the cvs forum but would like to come here more. I think it'd be great if you had

- a thread solely dedicated to catalinas, including the products bought and type of payment used. i believe this would help us pin point the items triggering specific catalinas. yes I know you have a peelie/catalina one but it's just too much info and a bit outdated

- a brand new clearanced item thread that's started monthly/quarterly....too confusing to have a running clearance thread for a long time because it's hard to keep up to date, some of the items are probably all gone within a couple months, and I hate scrolling through 10 pages just to find what is clearanced right now...

- i love the trial size list. I'd say start a brand new one, use the most up to date list and start over. add any relevant coupons that could be used on these products now. maybe do this every month or so just like the clearance thread. or just a thread about which trial size freebies are available monthly.

Sorry I know you have these threads in some form already I guess my suggestion is really to keep creating new ones every so often or its too hard to find what you want (especially using the AFC app)

I would love to see an ad scan of what is going to be on sale in the coming weeks. I seem to remember that at 1 time, there was a written list of upcoming sale but I prefer the visual of an actual scan.

I always come to the Target forum looking for current Gift Card deals. If there was a weekly updated list, I could do coupon matchups from it, but I can't seem to find a Master list of Gift Card promos anywhere!

I also frequent the cvs forum much more than target I think the weekly ad post can be cleaned up a bit and maybe a freebies and cheapies at the top of the post.

I'd love a scenarios thread for each week so we can share our plans and have them critiqued by other target shoppers/experts with so many rule changes it would be good to double and triple check our plans.

I like the idea of a trial sized list but most target stores are getting so strict I don't even use it anymore. Its more trouble than its worth so this one imo isn't as important.

The clearance thread is very important and pp had a great idea in doing them monthly or seasonal.

Maybe we can have a section with the coupon policy as it stands so we can use it as reference when planning trips and as backup at the store, it can also include target's customer service number.

I would love to see the free/cheap thread that is updated every week so I can easily find out the best deals each week!

I agree that I would like to see more free/cheap weekly deals, coupon matchups, and just more overall good deals posted.

Maybe the clearance could be broken up into category to make it easier like baby, food, clothing for example. maybe even a seasonal deals thread for school supplies, fall, holidays, etc. An awesome dollar bin find thread might be neat too.

I would like to see ad scans and coupon matchups (best deals to start and then the full ad). I currently use another site to help me figure out the best deals but I'd to come to AFC to do it!
