The FoodCo has Tide 32oz for $3.98 if you buy 2. I'm new at price matching so bare with me. Can I use the target coupon $2 off two and use two $1 off MQ 5/3? This would make them $1.98. Sounds too good to be true that's why I ask.

As long as u have the ad with u ...the ad has specified price, and u get exact item on ad ... Then yes u can price match , and use a target coupon and a mq coupon

I've read when you price match they won't let you use the Target Q also. They will subtract the target Q from their price and if the price is still higher than the other store, then they will price match.

You would have to find out how your store handles it. and usually I think you need to do price matches at the service desk.

yes they do but are very strict about it from what I've heard. you need to bring in the ad.

Yes, the Target Ad Match is VERY strict here!
We only have 2 Targets, and the Managers at each one have different rules.
But they are always so nice at the Customer Service desk when you go ask.

As stated by PP, it does depend on the store as to how they each handle price matching.

From their website:
How does price matching work?
If you find an item in a competitor's printed ad that is priced lower than it is at your Target store, we will match the price. The competitor's ad must be local and current, and the product must be the identical item, brand name, quantity and model number. Target.com is excluded from our price matching policy. Competitor catalogs can also be ad matched as long as the catalog displays a valid date and meets all other qualifications.

What qualifies as proof of a competitor's advertisement?
Please show us the entire printed advertisement. Photos, photocopies, or mobile phone versions of the ad cannot be accepted as verification of competitive pricing.

Can I use coupons when price matching?
A guest can use coupons when price matching per Target's normal coupon policy. When the guests presents a coupon(s), these steps will be followed:
Manufacturer Coupons: Manufacturer coupons will be applied after the price match is made.
Target Coupons: Target coupons will be applied before the price match is made. If the competitor price is still lower than the price after the Target coupon has been deducted, the ad match can be adjusted to match the competitor's price.

They priced matched without a problem at the customer service counter 4 tides @ $3.98 each-$1 MQ and $2 off 2 target coupon final price Pre tax $7.92!

For me, it always has. I shop at a SuperTarget, but even if a regular Target carries the same item, they should price match a local grocery store as well for the item.
