My Target finally got these in today. However, when I tried to buy one, I was told that I couldn't get it for free. I could only use one of the coupons. Then was told that I couldn't use the TQ on it because it didn't match the picture. I told them it was for any, but because it didn't have the word any on it, they wouldn't let me use it. Going to try again later and hope to get somebody more familiar with how the coupons work.

My Target FINALLY got them in yesterday! I was going to sign up for a RedCard, buy them online with free shipping, return them at the store, then buy them back with coupons! Then, there they were on the shelf so I did not have to go through all of that! My cashier wrinkled his nose and said he could not take so many ten dollar off coupons, but they all scanned through fine (of course) and I got two for free!! |

That's Awesome! I got mine a while ago. I wish I could have gotten one more for my mom.

I am stalking Targets mobile app and watching when they come available! So far nothing, however, one did say limited availability but that usually means not available.

I finally found the red handheld - 20 miles away, was totally worth it. Works great. Thanks! |

Found 1 red one today too but almost put it back because the cashier and manager were super scrutinizing. The cashier questioned every single coupon I had. They finally put them through when I mentioned I'd just shop at my other more coupon friendly Target. I hardly ever have issues but omg, its so frustrating when you do and they treat you like a criminal!

I tried using both $10 coupons on the handheld unit several weeks ago. The Target coupon beeped and was disallowed. The Target coupon listed several models. The handheld unit was not one of those listed. It was a no go for me. Good luck to everyone else.

This is a little off base, but did you realize this is designed for refrigerator use only. Bags will not stop freezer burn. Not designed for long term freezer storage. (information provided from Foodsaver). Maybe I am the only one that did not realize it.

Yes, I think this was mentioned somewhere back on the thread or maybe I too read it somewhere else. It should still help with keeping items fresher in the fridge and may work for short term freezing. I keep meaning to look into the ziploc brand bags someone else mentioned. I wonder if those are freezer bags.

I don't even use ours. I plan to one day but nothing ever sticks around our fridge or freezer for long. My husband uses it to pack his hops (he home brews beer). We got the food saver itself at a garage sale for $2.

I have a seal-a-meal I bought 4 years ago on sale for my heat sealing frozen items. I'll run that until it dies. I save a lot buying the 'manager's special' and freezing it. The BOGO TQs that were available saved me $40 in bags and rolls and I saved another $8 with MQs. I'm set for at least a year or more. |
