Has anyone else confirmed this yet?

I have yet to see this deal posted on other websites and usually a deal like this will shoot all over google search results within hours of discovery.

It's also interesting to note that when Target has a printable coupon making an item free it is usually within 1 or 2 cents of the selling price and this Target coupon is 31 cents from the selling price....

Both the lack of "spreading to other sites" after hours and hours of the OP and the difference between Target Coupon and Target price is making me think this won't work.

I did this yesterday, worked fine. Scans through at the box price (mine was actually a few cents cheaper if I remember correctly), no beeps at all I think everyone is just to busy with the New Year and Clearance to notice; coupon good til early February though.

I went to the more expensive Target today (the one that magically made almost all end caps, Seasonal and toys disappear, the store is 1/2 empty) and they had the same box for 99¢(crazy, do people actually pay that?)

If the coupon auto adjust wouldn't you have to use 5 coupons? Cause that would make them .29 each. I'm not understanding.

Someone else who is more experienced, correct me if i'm wrong, but this is how i understand this.

The coupon can tell how much you have in xxx product. So if she bought 2 boxes @ .59 the coupon would sense that there is 1.18 worth of mac and cheese so it would take the full 1.00 off. If she had only bough 1 @ .59 it would sense that there is only .59 worth of mac and cheese and only take .59 off. make sense?

EDIT:
As of 1/3/12 this did not work for me at my target. I bought 5 @ .42 = 2.10. The two coupons each only took off .42 so i was left wth 1.26 owed. I chalked it up to a lesson learned

My coupons scanned fine but it was not adjusted down. The receipt reads it took for the whole $1.00! .53 money maker for me.

I knew that was how CVS worked but I had no idea that Target worked that way. Thanks for the explanation!
