went to target tonight to get me son's prescription filled and they do not take compitiors coupons any more I have used the CVS coupons there all the time. there were no signs about the policy change he said it went into effect 11/04
anyone else with this promblem ??

As far as I know since I've been working at Target, they have never taken competitor's coupons period. Perhaps your pharmacy didn't know before or something. I don't know what to tell ya!

Target has ALWAYS taken my competitors coupons until they changed their policy as of 11-04 without a whole lot of warning.

OMG, this happen to me this week too! But, my pharm. lady gave me a target $10 gc.. this still would have went further at CVS. Then I took my second RX over to Wal Mart and had them match, so YEA!! $25 for Thanksgiving groceries.

But that was nice for the GC! Did she give it to you for hte promotion or just because of the inconvinience?

I am so jealous of you that can get discounts or gift cards with the pharmacy. In NJ its illegal if your under 62. I have quite a while to go for that!

just stopped and asked at my target last week, and the Pharmacist told me they stopped taking them when they atrarted with the $4 prescriptions. They do have $190 Target coupon out for a prescription though. She said we pay less with the $4, so they don't need to do it. Well, when ds presc costs $6.43 and I get back $25 somewhere else, you do the math- sorry target!

I had the same problem too.
I was told from a local website that I read that all Targets were going to this.
I asked my local pharmacy, outside of Raleigh NC, and she confirmed so off to Krogers I went.Krogers would only take coupon but I had a new pres. for my husband so I used that at CVS.
Sorry $25 beats $10.00 all day.

this goes to show - it really is up to each store - i also got gc @ my target

i have used a cvs q for a $25 gift card more then once. but last time i tried they told me no more but still gave me a 10 gc. because they felt sorry for me i guess.
it was in the middle of Oct when i tried
