I did good today. The grills finaly went final clearance at my store today. I got a 279 dollar Thermos stainless steel grill for 64 dollars. Then while searching through some clearance in the back room I found a set of stainless steel knives with wood block , Not the cheap ones but the ones with the stainless steel handles too , They were 90 percent off , Original price for the set was 99.99 , I paid 9.98 , Total for my order was 73.98 , minus a five dollar coupon plus my 10 percent discount , 62.08 plus tax .
Any one else get any good clearance deals latley?

I got in trouble for searching through the clearance in the backroom b4 , We had tons of food on clearance and I was back there going through the boxes when I knocked over a whole case of olive oil in glass bottles. They broke all over the floor. What a mess that was. I got yelled at for shopping on the clock.

where did you find the knives at in the store? what brand etc... I need some

LOL I have to laugh at this one.... I have broken things looking at clearance also. I worked in POS (pricing team) and if we had a big day of mark downs we left them in back for the evening shift to put out. I had many people going back there on break to shop. At both stores I worked at our store manager stated to everyone that they could shop the line on break. This was great on me..less I had to get out. LOL. I would get hounded every day "What's good on clearance?" I would tell them. We moved from Chicago land to Wisconsin 3 years ago and up here they think clearance is evil. You get more then one clearance thing in your cart and you must be stealing it. (well, sometimes the prices are really low)
