| I'm new at this and confused..I have 5 of the 4.00 Glade Wisp Coupons. Do I have to go through check out 5 times, each time using my 5$ gift card, or can I purchase 5 candles and and 5 gift cards in one transaction with my 5 coupons? If you do have to check out 5 times, do you typically do it all in a row (just get back in line or something, or do you have to leave exit check out and go to another line or somthing)? |

| Newbie here,too... So if I don't want a gift card for a future order, can they just apply it to my current order? SO, buy 2 @ $9.99 I have a $5 and $4 mfr. coupon instant savings of 10 Pay$1 plus tax??? Or will I just have to end up with two $5 gift cards for a later date? |

With this promotion, you will be PURCHASING a $5 gift card with each candle. After each g/c, register computer will automatically, all by itself , apply a $5 promo coupon, so YOUR actual cost for the g/c will be zero. You may not PURCHASE and USE a same gift card in one transaction. Before using a brand new gc, we have to pay for it first. Does it make sense? Our cost for gc is $0, but we still have to pay for it, in our case it means cashier hitting total and giving us receipt. read the SHOPPING SCENARIOs post I made earlier. If you purchase your candles 1 at a time, you will pay $5.99+tax for first order. Then you may use g/c#1 to pay for 2nd order, with cash out $0.99+tax If you have more cps to use, you can continue buying candles 1 at a time, using a gc from each previous order, to pay for next order. At the end, you will end up with only 1 $5 gc. You can spend it right away, or if there is nothing you want to purchase: - you can trade it to someone (we have Trading Forum), or - consider saving that last gc for use in the future, with the next similar Target promotion. Makes sense? When we post about the next deal, you will not need to use cash to get the first order going. ![]() Last edited by Deal Scout; 09-01-2007 at 09:06 PM. |

There are some folks, who do not have extra cash available, or do not shop at Target for non-deal items. Say you spend $30 cash on candles & walk out with $25 in gift cards. IF you want to buy something else at same store - great, you can use gc right away. What if there is NOTHING you need or want from Target? Your hard earned money are now stuck inside a g/c. That is $25.00 that could be earning high interest in investment account. Now, to answer your question. If/when purchasing candles separately: - you do not have to leave store between transactions, - you do not have to go to another register, - you do not have to go to the end of check out line. Personally, I do it whichever way works better for my wallet. If I want 5 items purchased separately: - yes, I would do them all at 1 register, in a row, 5 transactions. |

| marbear, I am not very good, but I think you will need to get a giftcard to get the offer, it will not apply to your current order, coz this is not like a coupon, it's a deal which give you back $5 gc for future purchase.. |
