I only had a few coupons too.

The cashier says "we cannot take this, these are for the web purchases"

I said "huh"

He said we were told nto to accept these any more, they are for online purchases.

Is aid " Do you seel Gatorade and sourcream and frozen PERISHABLE foods online?

How can I use prinatble coupons and order them online.

The YOUNG mananger comes over and tell me the same thing, I asked um, where your logic at, obviously you cannot buy this stuff online.

HE says well this is a regular target and that says super target sowe dont accept them.

So after arguing some more about the regular ones being for ONLINE purchases b/c it says web coupon on it, and now my baby is screaming b/c we are taking forever to check out, I just said fine take it all off.

I never had an issue there, now they wont accept any target.com printed coupons.

Sounds like they have no common sense.....But I think I would have went to the Kiosko / weeding reigetry thing and printed them from there....then what could they have said???? Nothing because they would be wrong again, except that you wouldn't be wasting you paper & ink. Good luck with Target corp. Let Us know if you here from them.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience at Target. Usually they are wonderful and since I'm no longer allowed to shop at Wal Mart (Dad hates them since they've been purchasing everything from China and screwing around with their employees) they are my only discount store around and their policies are getting so bad. I went to exchange a shirt I purchased there 2 days earlier that got a hole in it, all I wanted to do was get the exact same thing only no hole the shirt had the tags on and everything. I didn't bring the receipt but I thought no biggy they'll just do an even exchange. Nope, they had to return the defective shirt and use my DL, so now I have a strike against my no receipt policy. I told the woman it's the stupidest thing I've ever heard of I'm being "penalized" for their defective item. I'm thinking of contacting corp but I'm not sure it'll make a difference.

Actually, what we are being penalized for is all the crooks out there... People steal items and then return them...So now Target has had to become militant about it. If you paid with a credit/debit card or check they could look up the purchase...

Same thing with the coupons, if people would stop trying to cheat the system...using expired coupons, etc. We would have so much trouble...

I know what you mean target has some issues with training there employees. After my scene last week where I left my cart full there. I am not sure if and when I will step back into another target. I did email corporate and only got a generic email back. It made me feel even worse. I only wanted an apology and say I am right. The generic email did say I was right but not in so many words. I think there are just some cashiers that are jelous and cause problems in my opinion. Jeanine

I'm sorry. I haven't had any problems with Target. Some people are stupid. I can understand limiting the number of coupons you can use, but to not take a single coupon that your company posted online is ridiculous. Hopefully they will do better next time.

I would love to see how you use the Starbucks "web coupon" only on the web? How do you think they would ship that?? These people are such goofs.

I had to "educate" the manager at the Super Target here. I printed off the e-mailed coupon policy that someone here posted (thanks!). She was insisting that they can't take mfr and Tg. coupons. I basically said "you can and you will". I showed her the e-mail, and she relented and said she'd post the e-mail for the staff to see. I ALWAYS push it with them. I've spent too many thousands of dollars there for them not to honor their own coupons.

Speak to the store manager so he can verify the claim or call the corporate.
what they told me is as long as they have the merchardise they have to take the coupon also you can combine any target coupon with manufacturing coupon on one item, dont let them intimedate you!
i had my target store here educated for that.

I got a bunch of diapers for my baby shower and I simply wanted to exchange sizes, same brand, same kind, just smaller size. I didn't have a receipt so I had to use my driver license. Due to exchanging other shower items, I had already used my two time limit for my DL. I was told that I could use my husband's number. The funny thing is he didn't need to be present neither did his driver license, I just needed to read off his number to them. That's a great policy!

I had a coupon conversation with corporate yesterday. As a pp said, they don't have the option to not take the coupon. They can't deny the coupon based on how it looks. They HAVE to scan it. If it scans, they have to take it. And they have to take one Target and one mfr coupon per item if that's what you present. So next time, stand your ground. I've actually said, "I'll wait here and call corporate with you right now if you want." When you offer to do that, they usually back down.

Silly question- but how do you print off the coupons in the store?? I have always just done it at home. I know where the registry kiosk is at my store, but how do I get it to print out the coupons, and how many of each can I print on it? I am sure it isn't as great as our generator here, but if it can save me on paper and ink, I am all for it!

Well i got an email response from corporate that they spokje to someone int he store to advise them that it has to be accepted, so lets see what happens next trip. ( I rpinte dthe email obviously!)
