I'm very new to this couponing thing, but I think I've got it. Let me run this by you all and see if this will work.

Target's weekly ad starting 3/18 has:
3 for $7 Glade Scented Oil Refills (1 ct.) or Glade Scented Candle Refills (3ct.)

Last week's newspaper had the following:

Glade PlugIns Scented Oil Refills, any $2/2 (4-21-07)
Glade Scented Oil Candles Refill Packs, any $2/2 (4-14-07)

I got two sets of inserts last week, so if I've got this all correct I would go to Target and get 4 of one product and 2 of the other for $14, then use two of one coupon and one of the other for a total of $6 off. So I'd end up with 6 for $8 instead of 3 for $7, right?

Yes that is correct..But just because they are 3 @$7 you dont have to buy them in 3's if you don't need them just in 2's to use the coupon

I guess it would be helpful to know how much they would cost for two without the sale to see how much of a deal getting the six with the coupons is.

What queenbear meant was you still get the sale price whether you buy 1 or 2 or 3.

Buy 3 = $7
Buy 2 = 2/3 of that sale price (um...3 into 7.... roughly 2.66 each, therefore about 5.32 for 2)
Buy 1 = 1/3 of that sale price (2.66)

If I have done the math wrong, let me know... brain is tired.

So she will be getting them for $1.66 after coupon. Or just over $.55 per candle refill.

I stocked up when the dish w/ 2 candles went BOGO @ Publix. $6.99/2 less $3 mfr and $3 mfr = $.99 for 4 candles or $.25 each. I also had a $5/$30 to help with the $.99 and tax.

OP ~ this time next year you are going to be cringing at the thought of paying more than $.50 for an oil refill! Trust me! I have apple cinnamon, vanilla and evergreen out the wazoo! All for tax only ~

But the longer you stockpile the lower your "max" you will pay goes. And when your stockpile gets low your max goes up.

My Walmart sells the glade scented oil candle refills at a everyday price of $2.00 and with the $2 coupon I buy them for $1.00 a box plus tax.
