2 weeks ago i bought a glade gel warmer and got a free one wiht a b1g1 free coupon - in both packages were a b1g1 for the glade oil warmers and refills- from there i went to glade.com and scored a few IP coupons for either the warmers, refills or b1g1's. then i ordered a few from couponclippers. they mail out within 2 days- i always get my ordered coupons within 4 days max.... plus i wound up with one free galde item up to 3.99 which i added to this deal to make it 25 items....plus my siter, father and aunt printed thier glade coupons and gave them to me also....

There are almost always problems with deals where there are lots of BOGO coupons.
I hand the coupons over one at a time and watch the total on the register screen. If the scanner picks up the right side of the bar code, the total will not go down. When this happens I calmly ask the cashier to check if the last $1.50 (or $x) coupon actually scanned as I noticed that the total stayed the same. Then you might suggest they hold their thumb over the bar code on the right side and only scan the left side and, wala, it scans and you have helped educate a cashier!
I try and be prepared and I never argue with a cashier - unless you consider endless questioning a form of argument.
Example -
Cashier (C): You can't use the 1.50 and the BOGO Q for the free refill.
Guest (G): I see. Why not? I thought I could buy stuff with coupons at Target?
(C): You have to buy another candle.
(G): I see, if I buy three items, I can only use two coupons, is that what you mean?
(C): You have to buy another candle.
(G): I thought they told me that at Target I could use one coupon for each item, is that right?
(C): Um, yes, but you have to buy another candle.
(G): I was hoping to buy lots of candles and counting on Glade to help out and Target to accept the coupons. What does it say on the coupons? (Here, a prop helps, pull out your handy magnifying glass to read the coupon terms out loud). Will you help me figure out how I can buy the candle for $1.50 off with this coupon and buy a refill pack with this coupon that says buy any GSOC and get a refill pack free?
(C): Sir, I have to ask a manager.
(G): Okay, I'm sure the manager will know.
And it goes on until they agree or I say something like, "You know, I think I want to go and find out more about this. Would you please just cancel the entire transaction and I'll come back later after I figure it out?"
Sometimes, just the thought of me coming back prompts the cashier into action, and they K1 the deal.
If they don't, I usually ask them to just put the stuff back into the cart and I can decide if I want to buy it after I shop some more. Walk around the store, and go right over to a different cashier and start over....Target takes manufacturing coupons, right?

I have been doing the deal like this:
$20 - 8 tin candle holders or glass
$30 - 12 refills
$50 - total
Hand the cashier one coupon at a time, $2.50 already filled in on BOGOs
-$20 - 8 BOGO free refill wyb holder (beep, enter price) 11/1/09 SS or blinkie = 8 refills purchased
-$10 - 4 B2G1 free refill wyb 2 refills - 11/1/09 SS = 4 remaining refills purchased
- $6 - (4) $1.50/1 candle holder = $6 savings on 4 holders
- $4 - (2) $2/2 scented oil candle products = $4 savings on 4 remaining holders
$10 total and get $20 back in GC

First time I had done this deal, so glad I got then then, b/c I went back yesterday, and they are gone. rightathome . com and theres some glade coupon offers there- and glade.com enter the glade tim design contest - you dont have to design one - theres a print coupon on that page..

you can google glade printable coupons? 90% of my coupons were manufacturer coupons i traded for or ordered or got from my friend.

-$12.50, 5 BOGO Blinkies
-$4.00, use two $2/2 q's
= $8.50, get back 2 $5 GC.

That would be your initial OOP, but then you roll the deal (use the GC from previous transaction to pay) and get $1.50 overage for the next time, and repeat. This is my plan and I'm sticking to it! Hope that helps a little

Yeah, one of my only 3 local Targets has this rule now. It stinks. I can see their point, though I don't see a problem with using both. It's one of those things I won't argue with...but I will leave my stuff behind. That doesn't even seem to bother them anymore (had another problem with one other Target).

Where do you get all of these coupons? I've look at the market for the blinkies but have never found any. Do you guys take the whole box??? :-) I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm just trying to figure out how this can be done. We are unemployed and I'm trying to figure out how to make gift cards to buy Christmas gifts... I get one paper a week and print as many as 2 computers will allow. But wow, some of you gals (and guys?) sure do make a bundle this way! I'm impressed...
