I went to ST today and they just put up the end cap yesterday. All the refills were gone, so they substituted the regular refills for the holiday ones and I still got the gift cards. They couldn't have been nicer.. They said it was their fault they were out so they had to substitute..

Did they manually give you a GC or did it automatically come up during the transaction. Just wondering if they are expanding this to more items.

I was told if my cashier couldn't or wouldn't sub. to ask for the GSTL. My cashier just ran through the holiday ones again instead of the reg. refills. It showed all candles, but she took all my coupons. They went through after she pushed them.. GSTL probably would have done it faster but the cashier was an old student of mine and she just closed down her lane to do this.. The head cashier was right there and didn't say a word. I showed her the coupons and she had to Ok them all and did. They only had the Apple Cinnamon scent but that is my favorite anyway.

I used them today. I believe the blinkie q and that one says "any holder" although it shows the tin. The glass holders have $2 q's inside so make sure you grab one that does. As long as you purchase that holder, it's usually appropriate to take the q for that purchase. I found these holiday candles on an end cap away from the normal aisle.

I found my glade bogo from kroger blinkie today hope it will work at walmart ....the machine is in front of the glade candles...

In walmart they had some holiday on a display but they are priced higher than the ones on the shelf they are the old price of 3.38 not sure what they will ring up though....

I went today and they had the candles in Holiday scents, but nothing else. Are the tins you are all buying the Holiday scent, and are they $2.50?

I got some of the b1g1 coupons from FL today, outta the blinkies.. those did not say that, but I realized wheN i got home the refill packs were 3 pks instead of 4.. kinda bummed about that... and was able to use the 1.50 off any glade scented oil product and the b1g1 coupon.. Anyone know if Walmart will allow this?? itd be much cheaper at walmart if they do because at FL they are 3 dollars a piece and walmart has them on sale for 2.25. I had to do seperate transactions, but thats ok. I got a refill and tin for 1.49, but realized that had to be wrong but i looked at the reciept, she put 3.49 as the coupon price instead of the MVP price of 3.00 They also have the glass holders with the candle in it for 2/6 so I may try and go back tomorrow and get a few more, and get the holiday scents this time!

i havnt gotten a paper- i read another post about the glade coupons- i ordered the new ones from couponclipper- i didnt know if teh glade coupons were regional or not this weekend- i never did go buy the paper yet-

i have an awesome coupon friendly target, i have been able to use the blinkie several times before, and today it was a no go, cashier mentioned that they recieved a memo about not being able to accept smart source blinkies.

hopefully i can just try again with another cashier...or simply try and get LOTS of the coupon from tommarrows paper!

I didn't get my GF yesterday at target, because the manager said it was the holiday sent only.
Last week when i was there i bought the same ones i always buy and he told me that if i had my receipt he would cross reference it. I don't keep my receipts.

Yesterday, I attempted at a target that i never go to. I was told that the blinkie could not be accepted because it was a top food coupon. I work for the co. that puts in the blinkies...so I know what store they came from and I know why she "thinks" it is from Top foods. So I ask...she shows me the word top near the smart source note. That is just there to show how the q is to be loaded in the machine...so the machine knows when to stop spitting them out. If the stack is flipped around so that the word "top" does not sit on top...they will spit out uncontrollably. Anyway...she leans in sarcastically and says "you didn't get this out of a top food store" I lean in closer to her face and say "No, I most definitely did not". Anyway, she did push it through even after I mention to her that it is out of a machine, but that it is not a store q..but rather a mf q.

Just fyi, though... these are coming down out of the stores this week. And, they are coded for specific stores. Each store that gets say, a glade q, may have a different "version" of that q. To the general public it will look the same, but they have different film numbers. When I first started working for the co. , I was told that they only work in the stores they are put into. I am only guessing, but I suspect that is is more for tracking purposes. In other words, glade blinkie machine is put up in a top foods, but then is used in a target, a walmart, a safeway. I suspect they get statical data.. they know what stores will get them better "ad" coverage in and therefor, put more machines in those stores. I could be totally wrong though..and it could be that they really truly are not meant to be used in other stores...making the target cashiers who do not want to take these...totally justified.

I may be wrong but I don't think they sprays are included in the GC deal.

To check you can take a spray to the price check machine and scan it before checking out. It will tell you if it's part of the GC deal or not.

The register will prompt the cashier to give you a 5 dollar gift card after every 5 holiday items are scanned. It won't let them do anything else until they do that. HTH!

Sorry if this has been asked already, but there are so many pages about the glade deal that I don't have the time to read them all !!

Here is my question.

If I am going to do the glade deal, and I have Bogo Q's does that bogo item count towards the 5?

Example Senario:

Use 2- buy 1 glade oil holder get 1 refill free (with Q)
Then buy a oil refill

or do I need to pay for 5 of the candles without a free item so to speak to get the giftcard.

There are no signs up about this deal in any of our Target stores. Is it a national thing? Also, there are no refills for the holiday scents in any of the stores, but plenty of the holiday candles. Do the refills have to be the holiday scents as well?

I am not sure if this is how you were planning on using it.. But today at FL at least, i was not able to use a 2 dollar off any two glade scented oil in conjunction with the buy 2 refills get 1 free. It wouldnt scan . HTH
