yep.... next week starts the 4th of July clearance at Target

July 5th = 50% off 4th of July merchandise
July 8th = 75% off 4th of July merchandise
July 11th = 90% off 4th of July merchandise


Moms/Dads -- cute cute toddler/infant clothing as well as cute girl's clothing that has the 4th of July tag.

don't remember seeing boys' 4th of July tagged clothing. I know last year they (boys' dept) had shorts/shirts that had USA (no year, just USA) on them -- at 90%, I bought shorts/shirts for M. Unfort, they are still too big for him. But one day he will wear those 0.49 shorts/shirts!


Also saw ladies' socks with the 4th of July tag -- not holidayish at all. They are ankle socks and felt soft and cushy. I want some of those!

Linda! Too funny on the shorts...I bought a ton of them too last year for 49 cents and they are HUGE!! I don't expect any of these little peanuts will be able to wear them until they are in Junior high and refuse to dress matching!!!

I got some for J too - he sleeps in them, but they're still huge! At least the elastic on the pants is small enough that they say on.

Will they have the dollar spot stuff marked down tomorrow? Want a bunch of that lobster stuff...

Most likely they will have the $1 Spot marked down -- mainly b/c they have 4th of July stuff in the $1 Spot.

Now, this is just a guess -- but I think anything in the $1 Spot that has a BLACK dot near the price/bar scan will be 50% off tomorrow.

The # of times we have 'figured' out the $1 Spot -- I think we are probably on the money for tomorrow.

Now to find WHICH Target to hit first!

Think I'll hit the one where I cleaned up on easter stuff this past year...the demographic they attract is less likely to buy my lobster napkins than the one near me or the "new" (not so much anymore) one!

HH -- I can confirm that they will be the black spots.

I say this b/c the last time the DollarSpot was clearanced, the NEW non-clearanced items had black spots.

I scanned the lobster plates with the black dot this morning, still full price. Got 8 bags of m and m's free, 8 kellogg's with 11 cents overage on each, and a bag of cookies my son wanted 1.66

The hot spot here is still full price (TN). They were marking down the 3 pack of the Fusion products.

Dollar Spot still full price in Richmond also, 4th of July clothes were all grouped together, but not marked down, scanning 1/2, not much to choose from, DH doesn't need any more tshirts, did get him some swim trunks, found some marked down swim trunks for the boys, but not 4th of July. Looks like there are a lot of housewares 50% and 30% & a good number of toy markdowns, but couldn't really look through them 'cause the boys were not being good little shoppers...

Saturday is the big day for 75% off. I found a stash of M&M's tonight. Going to get them tomorrow.

Plus..I heard from another person that the $ spot will go 50% on the 11th which is a Tuesday.
