Trial sized eye makeup remover

Was marked down to .92 from .99? (big drop I know haha) but there is an ip on target right now for .75/1 up and up facial cosmetics item. = .17!

It also works with the 4 pack of facial tissue trial size.

Worked just fine did it once with the makeup remover wipes and while in another store did it again with wipes and facial tissue 4 pk. .17 each! No beeps. There may be other items that fit the coupon too I'm not sure

The wording doesn't say anything about size so I wouldn't have been cool with them denying it.

Last year, I really enjoyed my Target shopping trips. I remember cheap Starbucks coffee and free dog food. It's been a while since I've made a shopping trip there, though.

Yea I started going there a lot because I use shopkick and checkpoints (apps on the iPhone) and both of them, especially shopkick, give you decent points for going to target/scanning target items. Almost every day you can walk in for 60 shopkicks which equals about .24 and some days they offer anywhere from 150-300 kicks all just walking in the store (about .60-1.20). When you hit 500 kicks you can get a $2 instant gc for target or other stores, 1250 pts gets you $5 and so on...

But the lack of sales and rude employees has been turning me off to them. Blah

But I did finally get the 5 pharmacy points so I'll be getting an extra 5% off coupon in the mail, which can be combined with the redcard 5% off. Hope I can find a good week to cash in for that!

Yea! And like I said it may cover more stuff as long as its for your face

Try going to a target with a large trial section. Those make me happy and have the best finds. They also have the 1.97 trial visine and with the $2 coupon they're free

What didn't work? I know when I try to get walk in points at certain targets I don't have good reception and it doesn't work but for the target coupons (which are different than their text ones ) and for the target gc you have them scan the code. I've done it, it works. There's instructions for how they can do it manually of they can't scan too.

I tried to grab the facial tissue and the cashier (old lady rung me up unfortunately) and said I couldn't use it on it because its NOT a facial item. I normally don't have a problem at Target! I wasn't gonna make a big deal about it. I'll just go a different day!! She also noticed that I was using multiple of the same coupons on products and she said it states one per guest and offer. Okay yes I understand that but why does on the coupon policy it states 4 like qs per day or whatever. Was I wrong ?

Oh yeah she made me do two different transaction because of what the coupon states. One coupon per guest per offer. Good thing my brother was with me! And I told her I thought i make it easier and have her do one transaction for the both of us. She said no its called coupon fraud!!! So my question is she right ? I never did nothing bad? And I used the coupons appropriately so what's the problem?

I can't believe she said that!

Honestly this was the first time I was trying to coupon at target in a WHILE because of their ridiculousness.

As far as using 2 coupons if your have two people there, you were in the right. In regards to it applying to tissues its so hard to tell, my opinion is you were right.. I picked the "facial tissues" because they say facial and there's an argument to be had that its part of the cosmetics routine. (why do they call them facial tissues anyways? Where else do people use tissues??) See this is my biggest complaint with target - a good number of their store coupons are so freakin vague that basically any cashier/manager can make up a rule on the spot to suit their desire to not let you use the coupon. Why do they give out so many store coupons if they don't want us to use them????

it does look like they changed the fine print a bit. If I remember correctly it used to say "one coupon per customer per day." I find it funny that it now says "limit one coupon or offer per guest". AGAIN they're being deliberately vague. Only one of this specific coupon or one target coupon per guest???coupon per what? Lifetime? Minute? Transaction? Year?

This weird wording should have totally worked in your favor! If you said "this is my brothers coupon" and used it WITHIN your transaction it's within the parameters of target coupon policy and this coupons fine print. I don't see anywhere that another "guest's" coupon has to be used in a separate transaction.

It also doesn't say that the product has to be for the guest....

I know! I was very upset. I grabbed the eye make up remover package and the facial tissue too that was in the travel section like you mentioned and I would agree that both items would work with the coupon! But apparently to her the facial tissue isn't considered a facial item!! That made me a little angry.

Yes I totally agree that many of the coupons are very vague and I don't think its okay for cashiers to make up their own rule when they want too about what items are considered to be what!! It's common sense... To me. I didn't wipe the shelves or anything I grabbed two of each for the facial item coupon and she literally made a big deal about my transaction! On top of that my printer didn't print the picture on the coupon but the exp.date and barcode n everything was perfectly clear she was questioning my coupons!! ( I don't know why it turns out like that!) She probably assumed that I was trying to commit coupon fraud and scan them or something!! & it wasn't even the case. She even asked the next cashier and the lady said as long as it scans its good!

Yes,.I absolutely agree with everything you have said you couldn't have said it any better! I just wanted to know what others think about this scenario! Thanks so much

Ill be back there tomarow and I am gonna grab my facial tissues!! Rawr! Do you think its considered coupon fraud? Because I had more than one of the same coupon in the same transaction? She was trying to accuse me of that!

I have shopkick on my phone but couldn't figure out the point of it. Will try it again. Target is on the other side of town, so there's no way I would make it there daily, but I have to go today for some freeze-dried fruit anyhow. Hope I don't deal with problems from the cashiers. It's not worth the trouble to me.

You know what, I had written facial cosmetics in my OP but the wording was actually facial care right? Which makes us even more correct.

Target seems to be playing the game where either the coupon is absolutely vague or ridiculously specific ( like some of the cleaning ones...$1 off 22 oz blah blah...the exact product that isn't going to be included in a sale or doesn't have matching mq!!!) but if target wants to be vague, I'll play that game. Tissues, esp ones marked facial tissues are absolutely part of facial care. So are a TON of items in the trial or up and up makeup section. And if a cashier wants to give me sh**....I can sit there and argue my point all day! Lol. I'd say go to another cashier, and stand firm. If you have to, call a manager over. If they're still saying no, I'd ever say I use tissues to take care of my nose. My nose is part of my face. Facial means any part if my face. Lool be totally ridic about it if you have to!

You know sometimes my printer prints things weird too and I always get nervous that they're going to accuse me of something. If they won't take it that's one thing but if my printer jammed or was running low on ink I don't want to be accused of fraud. I've never ever photo copied a coupon.

This is not coupon fraud. Please don't worry about that or believe that lady. I think nowadays that word is being thrown around TOO much. You didn't obtain the coupon in illegal ways. You're not trying to use a diaper coupon on laundry detergent. You're trying to use your own coupon that target let you have on an item that you believe fits their vague description. They can ultimately deny the use of the coupon on the product all they want but you are not going out of your way to buy an item that it isn't for!

I didn't see the point either at first. When you check the "nearby" tab, you see a list of stores near you. Any of the ones with a green bubble on the right side with a number within the bubble mean there's items in that store that you could scan to earn those points. I rarely bother with scanning but when the have a star within the bubble that means there's an instant surprise. Click on it, click on the bubble, you'll get points or a picture of something that will give you points once you complete a "set".

I like to open it daily to get any points from my location (not many big stores within a couple miles so I usually only get 10 if that from my house). Then I use it when I go places, ESP areas with a ton of big name stores, or even a mall, you'll usually find a lot of points. A few stores have "walk in" points every day, like old navy and target.

The coolest thing about using them with target is they always have 60 walk in pts, but often more (today is a good day to go, 180 pts or walking in!), they usually have a lot of items you can scan for points (today they have 8 scans for a total of 140 pts) AND they have the mobile coups thatre usually different than the target text mobile coupons.

Anyways I try to open the app, click on target, click on "walk in", all before I even walk in the store. Sometimes I have to keep the app open for a while but this method almost always works. It'll tell you when it figures out you're in there. It's gps based so it should always wok unless there no reception

Seems like a lot of work but honestly I just took more time writing this then I typically take using the app in a day. I'm up to 6500 pts which is $26. Nothing to die over, and took some time to get this many, but I'm thinking by Christmas time I'll prob have almost $100 worth. Not bad for not doing much.

Ps pay attention to holidays. Shopkick loves all holidays. They give out tons more points and you can rack em up easy.

The coupon now states "$.75 off up&up facial skin care item" excludes trial n travel size. I don't recall the other same coupons stating the size restriction.

I tried again today and the coupon beeped for the facial tissues. Which I thought was weird because yesterday when I tried to grab them it went through just fine! I did go to a different cashier didn't let me use the tq for it either! I didn't see any of my regular cashiers I normally go too. ;/ I shouldve been a smartbutt but I didn't I guess I would've been wrong this time because of its size restrictions it now has..

Yes, exactly I have never tried to commit an act like that! And its whatever I guess. It's not a big deal to me that I didn't get it I just don't like when people try to accuse me of doing something wrong when I didn't. And thank you for your thoughts I appreciate it!

no prob. i know sometimes my printer is lower on ink and it won't work and a couple times ive had a cashier say something about photocopying...it upsets me too....if I photo copied the original it'd probably look a lot better than what it looks like when I'm running low on ink haha
