I found Nice! OJ clearance for .76 cents. Since this is usually a Walgreens product, I'm pretty sure it ended up in Target by mistake. Confused me for a minute....

I sure wouldn't buy it. Someone returned it do for all we know it could have sat in their car for 3 days and then they returned it. Yuck

No way was I gonna buy it. I wouldnt risk my kids health for .76 cent OJ, especially when it's marked "as is".

I found that weird as is really? Especially on oj just doesn't make sense to me :/

Not too long ago someone reported seeing the nice brand oj at kmart also. Maybe they shipped to other stores by mistake? By law you cannot put returned food back on the shelf so I doubt it was for that reason....

Their store brand is probably made in the same facility at the Wags brand...when it got boxed up there was a mix up. I've seen this with milk at Shaw's, it was Archer Farms brand organic milk, but I was happy since I got it for just $1.74 when the normal price was $4.50!

Returned food is restocked all the time, at both stores I shop (WM and United).

If its frozen or anything that needs to be refrigerated they can NOT put it back. Example-- Say you grab a gallon of milk when your done shopping and you get up to the check outs then realize that you grabbed whole instead of 1%. If you give that item to the cashier we are reguired to get rid of the food and keep the packaging for the claims department. Since there is no way to tell how long you had it for and so on...its a safety precaution! When i worked asset protection for walmart i can't even begin to tell you how many thousands of dallors goes to claims because of that. Dry grocery can sometimes be restocked but some stores don't just in case.

A few years back I saw at least a couple of dozen cans of Del Monte corn on the shelf at Foodlion that had Big Lots price stickers on them!

I sure hope that stores don't put possibly thawed stuff back for sale. I worry as I always find abandoned meats and frozen stuff usually down the dog food aisle for some reason. Once I saw some hotdogs stuck in with the magazines by the checkouts.

Something that I would not have accepted if I was the manager was when a cashier at another Foodlion told me that someone purchased a lot of frozen food but when they got home there was no room in their freezer so they brought most back for a refund! Hope they did not put that stuff back out!

This is absolutely correct. I work for Target and by now means are we allowed to accept returned freezer/refrigerated items and they must be salvaged if refused or left behind at the check lane. HTH to eliminate any concern.
