Thoughts? I thought Sayisha did really well. And hearing David A. sing lyrics with "boo" in them was just weird. The two David's will be in the top 2 and it's like the judges were almost campaigning for it. I don't know...it was a little weird.

David A should of changed the lyrics to "girl"-that would of worked a little better.

I thought Syesha did well too but David Cook was a bore IMO. I was expecting a lot more from him.

I have to agree with both of you. I wanted more out of this night than it delivered.

I am a HUGE DAVID COOK FAN, however I was disappointed with him last night. I really felt like all three of his songs were rushed.

I want David C and Sayisha to be the top two but I do think it will be the two David's in there next week.

I have watched three of these shows and it seems like every time the contestants get to choose their own songs they blow it. I wonder why this is?

I am also a David Cook fan...and I thought all his songs sounded the same. David A...he did ok. I think its a toss up ....

I love David Cook - my dd actually has the same hairstyle (she is 10 months old, and her hair is a little "awkward."). I think David Archuleta is so annoying. He can sing, but every song sounds the same. He makes every song he sings sound like a song in a Disney play. And, my gosh, what was he thinking singing a Chris Brown song? Dh said,"Maybe he thought, 'girls like Chris Brown, so I will sing his song.'" He is one person who couldn't do R & B, that is for sure.
I sometimes like Syesha, but it seemed like she was really trying to sell her looks instead of her singing on the second song. I thought her first song was good. And for the judges to complain about the third choice she had was silly, since the "producers" picked it - isn't Simon one of the producers?

OMG, tootsie, I say the same thing about my dds' hair-- that it's like David Cook's!

I can't stand David A-- he needs to OPEN his eyes when he sings and not lick his lips so much. He's boring. Not someone I would want to listen to on the radio.

I like David Cook. He is going places whether he wins or not!

I think the main problem with last night's performances was that the contestants had to squeeze 3 songs into the night thus making each song super short and pretty much lacking in all areas for everyone. I would have loved to hear David Cook's full length version of the Aerosmith song. They were all rushed and it left us confused. They should have just had two songs and had them perform full length versions of the songs instead of 3 choppy parts. It's ridiculous making them learn three different songs in their entirety (for the itunes plug) and then making them condense it down to a minute and a half.

I have all of David Cook's songs downloaded and let me tell you, the full length version of the Michael Jackson Billie Jean song is amazing and 10 times better then what you saw in his performance on tv. You get so much more depth in the full length versions.

And that performance was AMAZING! I watched it again and again. Maybe it's time for me to download it!

where do you download it from? I LOVE Dave Cook. I think he might of had some microphone issues on his second song, I listen to alot of live music and as soon as he started singing that was my thought. He did good, but I agree, I expected more. Although he did get brownie points from me when he wished his mom a belated mothers day.

I have to agree about David A. He just does not do anything for me...however I am going to give him the benefit of my doubt anyways. I did not like Elliot Yameen either on Idol and about FLIPPED when Chris Daultry was voted off instead of him, but I have liked everything Elliot has come out with. NOT AS MUCH AS DAULTRY, but I remember feeling the same way about Elliot as I do now with David A.

I do want to go on record to say that David Cook should be this years American Idol.
