We have a new Sweetbay that just opened up a few months back here in Lady Lake, FL.
What type of grocery store is it?
Do they double?
Good deals usually?

I just got a new Sweetbay last week too, Couponqueeny. My store is beautiful and a bit upscale. I've scouted out products I can't find anywhere else but do find the prices a little high except for sales. I had fabulous deals during the Grand Opening and have been going back just because it's such a wonderful shopping experience. Virtuouswoman had a great savings trip last week and I hope to learn from her how to really make those coupons count. My store does not double, but then none of my grocery stores do, sadly. Let us know how your first trip goes. Nothing is more fun for me than going up and down the aisles of a new grocery store. (I know. I don't get out much!)

No stores in Florida double as far as I am aware of. There use to be 1 called Fred's but they closed down.

Sweetbay is known for a diverse ethnic and organic section. They run GREAT mark downs on meat and that is usually where I stock up at on meat. (daily markdowns at my store)

They DO take competitor coupons, so use them to your advantage! This is how I get my total way down. :-)

have a sweetbay here too, couponqueeny, but I've only been in a few times. As PP said, they do have some great deals on meat. I plan on scoping them out much more thoroughly, now that things are getting tighter! good luck!
