My new Sweetbay opens tomorrow at 7:00 am. Should I be first in line??? Well, probably not but still, I can't wait to see it.

Did they have special sales?

It's a beautiful store but a smaller one, I think. They were packed to the rafters so I'll have to go back for a closer look when I can take my time. Got a $5 off $25 coupon when I entered and again when I left. Yay! They also gave away a nice big tote bag with a few sample sacks of Cheezits and animal crackers. I didn't take the free pineapple since I didn't want to fool with it.

Let's see, also got another card of coupons good for the next 3 weeks. This week's coupons are a dozen eggs free, free sack of sugar, and $3 off any fresh tomatoes. There was live calypso music playing and a free cholesterol/diabetes testing clinic. The big deals I got were Angus Beef Boneless Strip Steaks for $5.99/lb -- couldn't believe it so got 4. And Boneless pork loin chops for $2.49/lb -- another unbelievable savings so got a trayful.

Didn't see any tearpads on this trip but I'm sure that'll come later. Never saw so many suits from Corporate hanging around and smiling. All employees were eager to help and to please.
I just love walking through a new store, don't you? Can't wait to go back!
