These Official Rules apply to the “Ultimate Vegas Escape” Sweepstakes promotion (“Sweepstakes”) conducted by Las Vegas Convention and Visitor’s Authority (“LVCVA”), 3150 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109 (hereinafter, “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) on July 14, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 PM EDT on September 2, 2008. By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to the Terms in these Official Rules.

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANTS AND PRIZE RECIPIENTS MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES, THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA OR CANADA (EXCEPT QUEBEC) WHO ARE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE. VOID IN QUEBEC AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. SWEEPSTAKES IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, PROVINCIAL AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. HOW TO ENTER: Log onto Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority for Las Vegas Vacations - VisitLasVegas.com or Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority for Las Vegas Vacations - VisitLasVegas.com, then click on the “Ultimate Vegas Escape” Sweepstakes banner and follow the on-screen instructions to complete and submit an Official Entry Form (“Entry”). If you are entering the Sweepstakes for the first time, entrants will be required to complete and submit their complete name, address, zip code, date of birth and a valid e-mail address. If you are entering the Sweepstakes as a repeat Entrant, repeat Entrants will be required to complete and submit their complete name and email address. Limit one (1) entry per person, per valid email address per day. For the purposes of these Official Rules, a day begins at 12:00:01 AM EDT and ends at 11:59:59 PM EDT. All Entries must be received by 11:59 PM EDT on each Grand Prize Entry Period Deadline date indicated in the chart in Rule #3 to be eligible for that Grand Prize Random Drawing and all subsequent Grand Prize Drawing(s). Your entry constitutes your consent to participate in this Sweepstakes and your consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver your name, address and e-mail address and other information for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and for other uses by Sponsor as permitted by applicable law. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59 PM EDT on September 2, 2008 to be eligible for the final Grand Prize Drawing.
THREE (3) GRAND PRIZE DRAWINGS: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected in each Grand Prize Random Drawing on or about the Random Drawing date indicated in the chart stated herein, from among all eligible entries received by the corresponding Grand Prize Entry Period deadline date. The Grand Prize Random Drawing will be conducted by Centra Marketing & Communication, LLC, an independent judging organization, whose decisions on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes are final and binding in all respects pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Trip includes round-trip first-class air transportation between major commercial airport nearest winner’s residence and Las Vegas, NV, three (3) night’s hotel accommodations (1 luxury room, double occupancy) at The Signature located at the MGM Grand, limousine transportation for up to twelve (12) hours per day for a total of four (4) days while in Las Vegas, NV, one (1) $5,000 Gift Card redeemable at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas, NV, dinner for two (2) persons at Aureole up to $400, two (2) admission tickets to see a Sponsored-specified Criss Angel Believe Show, a meet and greet session with Criss Angel, two (2) tickets to the Criss Angel Gala Opening after party, one (1) private session for two (2) persons with Criss Angel, dinner for two (2) persons at Striphouse up to $400, two (2) admission tickets to participate at the Improv located at Harrahs, dinner for two (2) persons at AGO up to $350, two tickets to participate on a Zero Gravity Flight, two (2) tattoos provided by Vince Neil Ink up to $1,000, one day use of one (1) poolside Cabana at Luxor for up to four (4) hours, one (1) one-night use of a private bungalow at WET REPUBLIC for up to two (2) hours, two (2) admission tickets to LAX and VIP bottle service up to $500, two (2) spa treatment up to fifty (50) minutes at Adventure Spa at Red Rock, one (1) Helicopter Tour of the Strip for two(2) persons and a check made payable to the Grand Prize Winner in the amount of $12,300 to assist the winner in paying for any applicable federal and state/provincial taxes associated with the Grand Prize. The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize #3 “Extreme” Package: $47,475. TOTAL APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE OF ALL GRAND PRIZES: $125,643. In the event a Grand Prize Winner resides within a 100-mile radius of Las Vegas, NV, the air transportation portion of the prize will not be awarded and ground transportation between Winner’s residence and the Sponsor-specified hotel in Las Vegas, NV will be provided. There is no monetary value associated with the Meet and Greet Sessions with any of the Show Actors, Celebrities, Chefs, and Stylists. In the event for whatever reason, a Show Actor, Celebrity, Chef or Stylist listed in any Grand Prize stated herein is unavailable at the time of the Grand Prize trip, that Meet and Greet Session, or Celebrity, Chef or Stylist activity will be cancelled and Sponsor will not provide any compensation or substitution in lieu of that cancelled Meet and Greet Session or Celebrity, Chef or Stylist activity. In the event a prize component (excluding a Meet and Greet Session, or Celebrity, Chef or Stylist activity) is unavailable for any reason at the time of Grand Prize Winner’s travel, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute that prize component for another activity of equal or greater value. Certain elements of a Grand Prize are subject to health and safety-related restrictions. Each Grand Prize Winner and his/her Guess must travel on dates designated by Sponsor. In the event a Grand Prize Winner cannot travel on dates designated by Sponsor, that Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified and that Grand Prize will be awarded to an alternate Grand Prize Winner in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received, provided sufficient time remains prior to that Grand Prize trip. Each Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest are responsible for determining whether such prize elements are appropriate and safe for his/her use. Actual Retail Value of a Grand Prize may vary depending on the location of Winner’s residence. Guest of the Grand Prize Winner must be 21 years of age or older at time of utilizing prize. Grand Prize Winner and his/her guest must utilize the prize on the same itinerary. All Travel is subject to availability and certain blackout dates may apply. Each Grand Prize Winner is solely responsible for any and all meals (not stated herein), transportation between winner’s residence and major airport nearest Winner’s residence, gratuities, any upgrades, incidentals and any other expenses not specified herein. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by hotels or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage. If a Grand Prize Winner becomes disabled or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the Prize trip due to illness, Sponsor shall have the option at its sole discretion of: (1) being relieved of liability for fulfillment of that Prize trip or any part thereof or; (2) extending the period during which such Prize trip may be awarded for a period equal to the duration of Grand Prize Winner’s disability or illness. Grand Prize Winner must prove such disability by a doctor’s certificate, which certificate shall be endorsed by another physician agreeable to Sponsor and Prize Winner at Prize Winner’s expense. Grand Prize Trips are subject to any and all restrictions instituted by the Department of Defense and/or Department of Homeland Security as required. Grand Prize Winners (where applicable) are solely responsible for paying all federal, state, provincial and local taxes on any prize. Sponsor or Related Entities are not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from Winner’s or guest’s change of accommodations. Grand Prize Winners may not choose the cash value in lieu of the prize. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of any prize permitted. In the event an entire Grand Prize Package stated herein is unavailable for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES: Potential Grand Prize Winners will be notified by phone, U.S. Mail and email and will be required to sign before a notary public and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance/ Liability and (where legally permissible) a Publicity Release Form within three (3) days of receipt. Non-compliance with any of these Official Rules may result in disqualification and the Grand prize will be awarded to an alternate Grand Prize Winner in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries provided sufficient time remains prior to that Grand Prize Trip. If a potential Grand Prize Winner is ineligible, or declines the Grand Prize, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries provided sufficient time remains prior to that Grand Prize Trip. Each Grand Prize Winner’s Guest will be required to execute and return a Liability and Publicity Release (where permissible) prior to travel or will not be permitted to accompany Grand Prize Winner on trip. If an Affidavit/Release is returned as undeliverable, or if a Grand Prize is forfeited for any reason whatsoever, the Grand Prize Winner will be disqualified, and the Grand Prize will be awarded to an alternate Grand Prize Winner who will be selected in a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries provided sufficient time remains prior to that Grand Prize Trip. If a Grand Prize Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she will also be required to correctly answer a mathematical question without assistance (10 x 25 ÷ 5 + 30 – 5 =__). A potential Grand Prize Winner is not a Grand Prize Winner until his/her submission of notification materials is verified.
INTERNET: If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to an infection by a computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, at which time Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received by the time of the Sweepstakes termination. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Sponsor due to technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering by a user's Internet service provider and/or e-mail client or for insufficient space in user’s e-mail account to receive e-mail. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit the participation of an individual if fraud or tampering is suspected, or if the individual fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these official rules. SPONSOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCOMPATIBILITY OF ENTRANT’S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY WITH SPONSOR’S HARDWARE, SOFTWARE OR BROWSER TECHNOLOGY. CAUTION:ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute as to the identity or eligibility of a winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the “Authorized Account Holder” of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person 21 years of age or older who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Use of automated devices are not valid for entry.
GENERAL: By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants and Prize Winners: (1) agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (2) agree to release Sponsor and Related Entities from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, costs or expenses, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death arising out of participating in this Sweepstakes, or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery; and (3) consent to the use of their names, voices, pictures, and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor may discontinue this Sweepstakes at any time. Sponsor may terminate any Sweepstakes or decide to modify it in any manner that it deems fair and equitable to participants if it becomes aware of any occurrence that would materially affect the Sweepstakes’ security and fairness. Sponsor may prohibit individuals from participating in Sweepstakes and disqualify entries if they (1) attempt to enter the Sweepstakes through any means other than as described in these Official Rules, (2) attempt to disrupt the Sweepstakes or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules in any way or (3) repeatedly show a disregard for the Sweepstakes Official Rules or act (a) in an unsportsmanlike manner, or (b) with an intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor. Sponsor’s decisions with respect to the Sweepstakes are final. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. Sponsor and Related Entities reserve the right to correct typographic, clerical or printing errors in any Sweepstakes materials. Sponsor and Related Entities are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this Sweepstakes, the administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes, including such error as may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won. In the event the Sponsor or Related Entities are prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute, or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state , provincial or local government law, order of regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Sponsor’s or Related Entities’ control (each a “Force Majeure” event) the Sponsor and Related Entities shall have the right, in their sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes without notice or further obligation. If the Sponsor or Related Entities, in their discretion, elect to abbreviate, cancel or terminate the Sweepstakes as a result of a Force Majeure event, the Sponsor and Related Entities reserve the right, but shall have no obligation, to award the prize from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such Force Majeure event.
