I am so happy to see that there are Dollar Doubler Coupons in the Stop & Shop flyer I got in the mail today. Does anyone happen to know if they allow you to use more than 4 of the coupons in one transaction?

I think the limit is (4) dollar doublers. All other coupons with values under .99 will double if your store participates.

When I have more than (1) $1 doubler, I just do a separate order to ensure they will scan. Keep in mind that the minium purchase point is $15. Your Q's will make this lower

Yep, I agree with pp, only 4 per order. The first time I went for dollar doublers, my friend was shopping with me and we combined our order. I tried to use 8 doublers and they wouldn't let me. But when I said, ok, can we void this and we will check out separately, they realized it would be a LOT more work and end up with the same results - so they overrode it and allowed the additional $4 off. Of course I thanked her - it worked out better for all of us!

It depends on what you get whether it's worth it or not. They usually have a yogurt 4 pack on sale for 2 for $4 where there's also a $1 Q out on that yogurt - so get 4 4packs, they are all free. Also pick up some things that you use under $1 coupons on and it's a deal! Or, if you have some items that you rarely get good deals on - like meat, pick up some meat in your order. Or if they have a good deal that adds up - like last time they had something like 4 12 packs of Pepsi for $10. I grabbed just that and some free after doubling stuff. Another strategy is to get deals on things that also give ONYO discounts (On Your Next Order). And don't forget UPromise discounts.

If you scan your items, scan your $1 coupons (no more than 4) and your total is still $15 or more, you should be good. Then you scan your doublers, then your Stop & Shop card then any other coupons (have to scan your card before these or they will not double!). When you scan your card, it takes off the sale discounts - so your $15 can be made up of before-sale prices.

Yes, last time I did it I only paid around $3 OOP by the time I was done scanning coupons, etc. It really does pay to do it if you choose the right items! Yogurts were a great deal last time. And I also split it up into 2 orders if I have 2 sets of DD's. Good luck!

If my order is over $30, they usually let me use extra doublers at my store. And I do all my basic shopping there, so my order is usually about $75.

On a sidenote, if you live near HT stores, HT will accept the $1 Doubler Coupons as Competitor Coupons. Yes, you can use all the coupons--especially with Triples sale being confirmed for week of 11//04/09 to 11/10/09.

what are dollar doublers? I plan on trying this triple coupon at HT this week. I have several $1 coupons will they just double? or am I total confuzed! LOL Thanks

We have just got a new Harris Teeter store opening here in Williamsburg on the 4th. I am so excited, I have never stepped foot into a HT before. My snail mail flyer states "everyday double coupons up to 99c". Do they have triple coupon days? I have seen threads talking of $1.00 coupons being tripled. Does that vary by different stores or is it an occasional promo event? Thanks so much. learning by you! Janine

The $1 Doubler Coupons are what Giant/Super G show on their circular ads as a separate "green tear-off" sheet. It is usually on the front page of the ad. Yes, HT will accept the $1 Doubler Coupons as Competitor Coupons. I believe, however, that it reads "1/off $15"--just check your local ads.
