How are you using your Doublers?

I'm using two of mine for Arm & Hammer detergent. There is a printable $1 q and it's on sale for 2.50. so the detergent will be .50!

The other two I will use towards the Edy's, Drumstick, Skinny cow ice cream deal. I believe those will end up being $2 each with the insert q's and the doublers, then $4 off the next shopping trip, so it'll be like getting drumsticks for $1. Kids love those too, and I suspect they'll like the Dibs so we'll try those.

Cereal, milk
Bandaids.. which will be $.50 a box after doublers and coupons...
Daisy Sour Cream will end up being free so I'll stock up on those to make pound cakes for the freezer.
Few cans of del monte veggies for the food bank... those will be free after the printable coupons.
Dole Salad blends will be FREE after the $1 coupon that was on SS printables. Not sure why that one isn't in the database yet. Use the doublers and get two free bags...
Fiber One Toaster Pastries also free after coupon and doublers..

Glade Air Freshener are 10 for 10.. there were B1G1 coupons in an insert a couple weeks ago... so those will be free.

Kraft Bagel-fuls will be a MM after using a doubler and $.75 doubled coupon.

Pillsbury Brownie Mix would be free after using the $1 of 2 coupon plus doublers.

Guess I'll stock up on tuna, ground beef, and possibly the perdue chicken depending on what they are before the B1G1. I'd like to get a couple bags of the Tyson chicken fingers since my kids eat those a lot. Not sure if I'll have room in my freezer though. I'll need to make my $15 per transaction to get the $4 doublers off.

Looks like I'll be a busy girl at S&S next week.

If you are in MD and close to Gambrills, head out there. Their ad has the doublers and as well as triplers up to 99 cents.

If ypu're near Gambrills, you might want to consider driving to the Shopper's in Annapolis - they're having unlimited $1 doubles this weekend. That said, there are some things my family likes that I'm using the doubles at Giant because shopper's doesn't carry it. Fiber 1 pancake mix and apple and eve juice are two that come to mind - look in the Shopper's forum for deals.

Free Breakfast!

At S&S in NY (Long Island)

Newman's Own Honey Flax Flakes
sale 3/$6 ($2 each) - Redplum IP $1/1 - $1 doubler = FREE!
I hate paying full price for cereal. There's so little in the box, and I eat through it in no time!

I'm also doing the Fiber One Toaster Pastries. Too bad I only have 2 Q's though. Thanks for the ideas on how to use my other doublers!

Can you use IPs with the doublers? I've been turned down in the past.

Free Lol, this is how I shopped...

So I cut it pretty close this week, but here's how I used my dollar doubler coupons--
Bought:
2 pints blueberries (2/$4)
2 bottles Kraft BBQ sauce (10/$10)
6 1.5oz bottles Johnson&Johnson's baby powder ($0.99each)
1 2pk Schik disposable razors
2 Itti Bitz ice cream cups (10/$10)
Coupons:
4 Dollar Doubler coupons
2 $1/1 Kraft BBQ (smartsource!)
2 $3/3 Johnson&Johnson's products (coupon here)
1 $2/1 Schick disposable razors
1 BOGO Itti Bitz/Kemp personal
2 reuseable bag credits ($0.05each)

Total: With the help of a wonderful and adorable cashier who kept telling me I look just like one of the girls from the "Ghost Hunters" show (do I?), Stop and Shop actually paid me $0.10! I really enjoyed this trip, not only because it went so well, but because, yay, free blueberries!

Another doubler finishing up! I'll be sad not to have my $1 Q doubling! I used a 1Q for free Bagelfuls (2/$4 - 1Qs doubled = FREE) and EasyMac - $1 off 2 and they are $1 each so doubled - FREE. Loved the deal on Arm & Hammer laundry detergent - $1.99. Had the $1 off 2 Essentials line (which was included) so not a bad deal (2/4 - 2 = $2 for two bottle of detergent).

I managed to get the $5 back when you buy $20 or more of selected products 2 times this week - both times using some doublers.

It's sad, but hopefully we will have doublers again soon.

I'm new here so please forgive me if I'm posting this question in the wrong section. I may be misunderstanding the concept... Are there actual doubler coupons or do you just tell the cashier "I'd like to double that coupon" or is it only during certain times that they double your coupons? TIA!

Every so often, the Stop and Shop flyer that comes in your mail will have an add-on, with four clippable coupons that are each worth a dollar off your purchase if it is over $15, and you have used a $1 coupon. That way, it "doubles" your dollar coupon. You can't get them from the in-store flyer, they're only good for the week covered by the flyer, and you can't use more than four in a transaction.

There's no telling when they'll run the promotion. I try to keep an eye on the board here, and someone will usually mention when they spot one.
