I bought 8 Breyer's Ice Creams, $3.29 each, B1G1, used eight .75/1 coupons, and 2 Bertolli Meals, $6.99, used two $2/1, total OOP was $8.38! Talk about a steal. Even just buying the ice cream, which turned out to be .29 for 2 after coupons, was a STEAL! Just be careful when doing the Unilever deal, as my $5 didn't come off automatically and I definitely spent the $20 (I did not include the free ice creams). I had to go to CS and get my $5 back.

Just returned from Stop & Shop. I also purchase (more than) enough products to qualify for the "spend $20on Unilever products, get $5 instantly off your order". When it didn't come off, I went to customer service. The woman working there gave me $5 cash. When I asked why it didn't come off, she say it doesn't matter - I should be happy since I'm getting the money. I really wanted to know so that if I do the deal again, I don't need to waste my time stopping at customer service while my (very inexpensive) ice cream is melting!

Having coupons has never given me a problem before - the total has always been calculated after sale prices but before coupons. I did the deal a second time yesterday (Knorrs pasta packets, Ragu, frozen Bertolli dinner) and again, the $5 did not come off automatically. I went to CS again where they gave me the $5. No one mentioned it but there was a sign that Country Crock was not part of the Unilever deal even though it was shown in the flyer. I hadn't purchased any Country Crock items so I still don't know exactly why it didn't work. And CS doesn't seem to want to figure it out - they would rather just hand over the $5. Fine by me since I think I did the deal correctly and it wasn't a long wait.

also didn't have the $5 come off, had to go to CS. gave it to me as a $5 gift card, not cash.
