| Stop & Shop 3/13 - 3/19 - What are you buying?
Well, just finished going through my flyer for the week! Nothing too exciting, but I'll be buying these: Tribe Hummus @ 5 for $10 - $.75/1 IP doubled = $0.50 ea Eight O'Clock Coffee @ $3.99 - $1.50/1 Catalina = $2.49 Ritz & Wheat Thins @ $2.99 - $2/2 = $1.99 We're also out of tuna, so I'm glad to see the 5 for $6 on the solid tuna cans I've never tried the Eight O'Clock coffee... any good? I got the catalina at S&S a few weeks ago, and normally our bagged coffee is $4.99 so this looked liked a good deal. |

I've tried the eitght O Clock but it was a while ago. I think it was pretty good, not the best but better than the can stuff. That is a good price for it though. Lipton sides are 10/$10 there are a few different coupons to go with that, 75 cents/2 being the best one I think. Hillshire farm Kielbasa is 50% off and there are $1/2 coupons out there. Ortega taco shells are 2/$3 if you have a 75 cent/2 they end up 75 cents each. |

They are priced at $1 each minus $1Q for 2 (3-15 insert) making them .50 each... I like to have a variety in my fridge... even though I make my own.. Also baby carrots are $1 when most of the time they are $2 or $2.99. Also, I saw someone post somewhere that CVS has wheat thins for $1 (each store may vary) using the q for 2/$2 would make them FREE!! |

| it may say do not double. but if th eUPC start with a 5 and you go through the self scanner it will automatically coulbe anyway... most registers will double them anyway unless you have a super picky cashier who would then have to enter it by hand... and we all know how much they LOVE to do that... In 99% of cases you would no thave a problem getting the coupon to double if it starts with a 5... only time you they "can't" technically be doubled is if the UPC starts with a 9. HTH. =)

I take PP, GC, or Forever Stamps at 15% face value. A little higher than normal trade, but it takes ALOT of ink and in some cases alot of time. I ended up getting about 40 lipton sides, 14 taco shells, 6 taco seasoning (not on sale but only89 cents - 75cents/2), and one lemon juice My total was around $18 One thing I like about S&S, they don't limit how many they will double. Saves a lot of time. |

What do you need in order to double a coupon at S&S? I am new to coupons.

You don't need anything to double a coupon that is under a dollar. They double automatically. A couple times recently they have had "dollar doublers" in the ad that you present along with a $1 coupon to double it.

I only use 8 Oclock coffee. I have for years. To me its the best, I do grind my beans at home (well my coffeemaker does) so they are always fresh. Its a good buy. I usually buy the large bags which tend to be a better deal especially when they are on sales and I have a coupon.
