I hate reading this thread now- I feel like none of the deals are for my store.

are the deals in your ad different?

We combined the threads because the ad for Giant and Stop and Shop are the same with a few exceptions. They are owned by the same company. I have been posting the links and promotions for both stores, if applicable.

What deals are different for your store?

I went through my ad and it was very similar to the Giant one. If you look in the sticky for the week deals for both stores are listed. Are yours different from both of these?

I understand the combining, but it can be a little confusing.

You know, I agree with mum23. I think Stop & Shop deserves its own forum. Look how Shaw's and Northern PriceChopper have taken off. Of course, I am not the one to be in charge of it! LOL Having said that, thank you to our FL for all the hard work. Just my two cents!

We had 2 forums before, and neither got much traffic. We decided to combine them because they have the same ad, and with the hopes that we would get some more discussion in the forum. Please feel free to post here no matter which store you shop.

I love having the threads combined! It's great to have so much more discussion of the deals. The names Giant and Stop & Shop are just 2 labels on the same thing...

Oh I beg to differ. The primary reason I dropped the pay for coupon list service was because they based my Giant list on a Stop & Shop flyer, and every week there were several very good deals that didn't apply. So, though they are owned by the same and run some of the same deals, they
are not the same!

Just wanted to point out my previous experience.

That's fair. (sorry this is a repeat story for some of you) The Stop & Shop flyer I receive at my house -- happens to be for the Stop & Shop one town over -- is not always reflective of the sale at the Stop & Shop in town. Sometimes prices are different, sometimes entire items are different. So I don't think of it so much of a Giant vs Stop & Shop issue as much as stores within this chain can vary. It's a pain, but it's great in the thread for the week to point out where the ads are different and Carrie will incorporate that. This happens in the Shaws forum, too.
