I made the mistake of sending my husband to Stop and Shop on Thursday to get some more of the lunch meat that was on sale. He couldn't find his card so he just didn't use it and ended up paying full price and his coupons didn't double.

I went back today and stopped at the customer service desk with another of the same coupon to show it didn't say do not double and to try to get the money back for the doubled coupons at least.

Well she handed me nine dollars. Basically the amount he would have saved if he used his card. I didn't expect that so was pretty happy.
