Storage question

I have very limited storage in my home. I have a shelf in my bathroom for olay/ feminine products/ toothpaste . I DO have a shed ( currenlly has ants galore) and a GARAGE. Here is the issue.

HEAT- in my area it gets up to 110, heat index of 120, easy, 90% humidity, as well..
Then my garage has the dryer vent vented in to the garage, so... Even hotter. And even more humid..
Right now, I have a shelf with 2l drinks in the garage. I KNOW I need to move the inside, but I have no space.

What, if anything can be stored in the garage?

I was thinking dish detergent, body wash, toothpaste? Dish washer tablet, ( not gel caps , obviously). Would those be ok? Anything else ? I have only been couponing since January and I LOVE the deals, but don't have the storage to get many more

Weird things can happen to liquids when it gets too hot, sometimes the ingredients separate, or the product doesn't work as well.

Stuff like razors, bars of soap, extra feminine products, etc. would store well regardless of temperature.

I don't have outside storage, but I can see your issue.
I found this info on another site for you:

Things to store in the garage:
Razors
Laundry Products
Wipes
Cleaning Supplies
Soap
Liquid Hand Soap
Shampoo and Conditioner
Paper Products
Air Fresheners
Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
Body Wash
Band-Aids

Things not to store in your garage:
Lotion ( it all separates in the heat, even shaking it something happens to it!)
Deodorant
Batteries
Diaper's ( they smell milldewy to me... call me crazy!)
Candles (obvously these melt!)
Make Up (I never kept this in the garage, but the heat will ruin it)
Medicine
Food, canned or boxed or otherwise!

Also, there is the issue of the cement, the chemiclas from it will leach into your food products so you have to store everything up off the ground. This also goes for anything you are storing water/liquid in. Do not store your food or other products near gasoline, insecticides or other chemicals. The plastic that these chemicals are stored in is porous and can leach into your food and products also. These items should be in a separate cabinet on the other side of the garage.

Great!! Do you think cleaning things like Lysol wipes, pine sol, bleach, etc would be ok as well? What about aerosols like air fresheners? Do they explode at certain temps?

I will most definately get me some shelves and start moving things out of their "cubbie holes"

So the olay body wash/cleaning wipes/ toothpase will all be ok outside?

What about canned fruits and vegetables?

Thank you !! Just after 5 months I have quite a stash going don't want any to go bad ( or explode- hehe)

we dont have much in the way of space. I had a closet that didn't have shelves so hubby cut a piece of plywood, and put up brackets and we have shelves now in the closet for extra stuff. Also you can store under the bed in plastic totes. I would get either shelving and/or totes. You can find those usually cheap-free at yard sales, freecycle or estate sales/auctions They dont have to be pretty just work for our garage. I dont store boxed stuff in my garage at all with high humidity. I lost 10 things of pasta that way because of the smell. I store paper plates, paper products, aluminum foil, baggies, trash bags, cleaners, sponges, lightbulbs, razors, deoderant, body wash, in my garage. another thing if you have a closet for holiday decorations, try moving that stuff to the garage/shed in totes and move food there, just some ideas.

Be careful putting foods outside. I live in Tennessee and it gets hot and humid here too. I live in a condo with a storage shed outside. The only thing I put outside is the stuff that goes in my deep freeze. I do, however, store paper products, trashbags, razors, pads (never tampons as they should not be stored in hot or damp places), and the like in the attic. I have mouse traps up there just in case I get any visitors in my attic.

I've done things to come up with more space inside my house for storage. I elevated my bed eight inches and have under bed storage totes. I stacked my front loading washer & dryer and put a freezer in that space once was occupied by the dryer.
