Help Sign Storage shelves/units?

I was hoping some other couponers with a stock pile could post where they got there storage shelves. I have a room I can use which is currently my stock pile room, but its full of all kinds of different shelves, book cases, etc. Any help and all replies would be much appreciated.TIA

We have 2 of THESE each shelf can hold 850lbs. We ordered them on Thanksgiving from Lowes paid like 50 bucks per unit. They were pretty easy to put together just need space as they are big. I like them though they hold alot!!

Those aren't bad each shelf only holds 150 lbs though which i dont know how your stockpile is but laundry soap, soda's and canned goods can add up in weight. I like those though maybe I'll get 2 of those for smaller items like hba goods and paper towels, napkins and boxed items like hamburger helper.

Now where can I put those hmmmm...oh boy my hubby may want to hide this weekend LOL.

I have the Lowe's ones. The wood tends to bow very soon after using them. I got the Gorilla shelving units on sale at Ace Hardware and love them! Got them before the Lowe's ones, but thought the Lowe's ones looked sturdier. I think because the Gorilla ones I have have shorter lenths than Lowe's shelves, they don't warp and bow. I will stick with them in the future. Waiting for them to go one sale again. The $70 shelves go half price several times a year.

I have one of these in my Kitchen. It's a leftover from when my DH had his own computer business.
Commercial Grade Decorative Wire 6-Shelf Chrome finish Shelving Storage Unit-6T60184872C at The Home Depot

This holds about 600 lbs per shelf so total weight limit 3600 lbs. I doubt we'll ever break it!
We also have a smaller 3 shelf one by the Fridge.

I found a heavy duty shelving unit at a flea market for $10. Had a friend who downsized homes give me 2 garage shelving cabinets. I like cheap/free vs. Paying full price. Going to take pics.

I have these, they are fine for lighter stuff and I just put the heavier stuff on the bottom shelf. There is also a deeper version that has a heaftier per shelf max weight. I also have a couple of those and I have canned goods on them and they arent bowing (yet). Going on 4 months.

I would be interested in hearing if the gorilla shelves go on sale.

I have a Closetmaid cabinet and holds a suprising amount of stuff. It looks good enough to put into a spare bedroom without making you look like a crazy person. It only cost $50 but I received it for a present so it was even better

I like the ones you posted, we looked at those today and were selling for 89.00 at lowes so for starters we opted for the one amy posted. We just did our very first stockpile run yesterday and have plenty of toothpaste, vaseline, dawn, dog food, lady speed stick and irish spring body soap. We got most of this stuff for free. It was so exciting. Now we rain check on some things.

Also, be on the lookout when garage sales start ramping up this Spring. Sometimes people have them for sale or have the items they are selling on them for display. Even though they might not have thought of selling their shelving, they might if you make them an offer!

Totally OCD. Luckily my DH is building me new stockpile shelves so I can more easily rearrange and reorganize my goodies!

I did that last year. She didn't mind scooping all the stuff off at all to get rid of the shelf. Got a killer shelf unit for 10 bucks. too bad she only had one.

I found some canning shelves at menards last fall - there is no correct bottom or top to the shelves, if you make one side the top then you have an indentation to set things into like can't goods, jars, etc. if you flip it over when setting it up then you get the flat side and can put anything on it. I liked that it was cheaper than other shelving units. Don't remember the weight rating but I've got mine filled with quart jars and it looks good to me. It's not the biggest thing though. But I like the idea of garage saling for one.

Nice stockpile! I am only allowing myself one year supply max of any one product because a) I don't want to store the stuff forever, b) don't have the room.

When we move to a house that has a garage I might be in trouble. I might be tempted to fill it up with free and cheap stuff LOL! At the moment I have 3 of the shelving units in my laundry room and a set of the wire shelves attached to the wall over the washer and dryer. I'm almost at capacity so I'm really slowing down and being more selective on what I get. This week I have to make more room by putting things we don't need in the attic. More room for deals

Thats totally understandable...but this stuff is always changing with my family and friends buying from me...it is getting a little out of hand, almost time for a yard sale...

If I had family close by to give stuff too I'd probably get more. The one relative of my husband that lives close is well off so they would never need anything from me. I do have one friend I'm going to give some stuff to soon so that'll make some more space.

I can't wait until we have a garage so I can really get a good stockpile going. I'm happy with this one now but I'm still rearranging things weekly to figure out the best way to store stuff.

I got a couple more Softsoap body wash a couple days ago with a rain check at CVS because it was free and got me to use another 3/15 Q so MM really. Problem is no more room to store it ! Looks like it's going to that friend I'm giving some Olay to.

Anyway, nice job Are you going to post pics of the rest of your stockpile? And what do you use for smaller items that don't go on shelves. For example, I have tons of hair ties, first aid, bandaids, chapstick, small stuff. Right now I have 10 small shoebox size bins that are stacked on shelves but I'm going to get more this week. I also have a plastic set of drawers I'm going to empty out and use but not sure for what yet.

I see lots of ideas for storing the larger items but not so many for small things. I looked at the $ store but ended up finding these at Walmart for $1 each.

Awesome! Can't wait to see! And yeah, tell me about it. I have crafting supplies, large things like crockpot, waffle maker, etc all stored in there. I need to find room in the kitchen cabinets for those so I can use that precious space for my stockpile
