| How do you store your stockpile?
Ok so I am just curious as to how you store your stockpile or where you store your stockpile? This is how and where I store my stockpile. Where: Bedroom Closet, Hall Closet, Bathroom Closet, Front Closet, On top of my cabinets in my kitchen, In a desk in my living room. How: I have a Wire Rack unit that is held together by these plastic pieces (I want to say they are around 14.99-19.99), Plano shelving unit in my closet (which I believe was 9.99 at target), Cabinet in the kitchen that has 1 fixed shelf and 2 adjustable shelves (49.99 at target on sale), a drawer unit by the front door (target for 19.99 I belive). I also use clear shoe box containers, sterilite containers, I recently got from my sister in law one of the bags that pillows come in (she always kept it) I put my shout wipes all in there. I took them out of the container and stored them in there. So tell me how do you store your stockpile and where? |

same here I enjoy seeing the stockpile pictures. I live in a 2 bedroom apt and do not really have much space at all to store stuff. I have come to conclusioin that I need to get rid of stuff. Like I have a desk in my bedroom when I had a desktop computer. Now that I have a laptop is it worth keeping it or hmm thinking do I get rid of it and get more cabinets when they are on sale to have more space to stockpile? The only thing is that is where I have my printers hmm trying to figure that out where I should go with the printers. |

I store my stockpile in my kitchen cabinets, and in my bathroom cabinets, as well as the cupboard under the stairs...I was always scrimping before and never had enough to even fill half those cabinets, even though our house is only 1190 sq ft..thank you all you AFCers! for teaching me to make the most of what money I do have!

Right now everything is in clear plastic bins because we are moving in a few weeks. Before that they were in baskets on the shelves of the hall closet. I think when we move I might just keep them in the bins. It's just two of us living there so we don't go through a ton of product and it takes up less space to have them in the bins. |

I live in a mobile home and don't have a lot of room, so we have two plastic bins under the table filled, plus our second bathroom is unusable currently so I have plastic bins in there as well. All of my non-food items get stored in the shed outside.

I have slowed down on stockpiling because the deals haven't been that great, but I do have a bunch of things left over from months of deals. I store kitchen stuff all over the cabinets in the kitchen, but health and beauty I have in 3 rubber maid boxes and school supplies are now in 2 rubber maid boxes. I live in a small house and have no more room to put anything else. If I owned the house would probably build a room just to store things.

I store my stockpile in my laundry room and the baby stockpile in the kids closets. I already need more space, so my husband has agreed to build me a shed to store my freezer and stockpile items!

I store all of my cleanng stockpile in the laundry room on shelves, the soda's, water, and capri suns and other beverages for the girls , and paper products get stored in the laundry room. My laundry room is huge, it also has my freezer and extra fridge.... I keep all the stockpiled soaps, body wash, shaving cream, wet wipes, basket of toothbrushes etc in the hall linen closet. In my walk in closet in my bedroom, I have two rolling storage carts that hold razors, bandaids floss... etc., all feminine care is kept in my closet or under the sink in my bathroom. All food stockpile is in my cabinets in the kitchen. I told dh I need more storage, or a bigger house.. |

I'm still easing into the stockpiling side of things (or I should say, I've been couponing long enough that even though I didn't intend to stockpile, my stockpile is sneaking up on me).... I have stuff everywhere. I'm in a 2-br apartment... I have a small chest freezer in the dining room, and a couple cabinets for dry goods (I keep my dishes in a cabinet in the dining room so I have more room in the kitchen cupboards). We have 2 bathrooms, and the second one gets used as a second utility closet, so the tower of toilet paper, kleenex, and paper towels live there. I also store some of the extra HBA stuff under the sink in there. The overflow ends up going with me to work. I keep my desk at work pretty sparse, so a lot of cabinets and drawers were sitting empty. I currently have extra brownie mix and cereal in one cupboard, kotex and kleenex in the other. And two drawers that get the overflow deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, etc. It actually works out really well having the surplus with me at work because that's typically where I am when I encounter a donation box. They require interns here to do a community service project along with their internships, so we had a bunch of donation drives going on for the last few weeks and I had stuff on hand to donate. Helped me clear out some space for the new stuff that's bound to come along. I think our next steps will be putting some sort of a closed cabinet pantry in the utility closet off the kitchen, and maybe another in the second bathroom and I need to do a little more research into the shelters and food banks in town and up my donation rotation so I'm dropping stuff off regularly. |

I live in a 2-bedroom apartment, so besides some of the places previously mentioned, I store my surplus in a storage facility and in the trunk of my car. In the trunk, I have stuff in plastic bags, canvas bags and in those styrofoam chests one gets from Omaha Steaks, (recycling here!). It's stuff like paper products, and cleaning supplies. I never store food in any shape or form in the trunk.

You need an option to choose all of the above. Living in an apartment, it goes wherever we can find room!

Do you use the storage under your home at all?? I know when I lived in Texas we lived in a mobil home and we used that to store certain things for the car. Not sure if that is something that can be used or not but an idea. |

| We have all of our lawn stuff and bikes stored under there, so there's not a lot of extra room. I'm hoping when my son gets older he can move all his stuff into his bedroom and we can use the playroom for extra storage.

In my pantry in the kitchen and I also have two (2) 6 foot cabinets in the basement, currently filled to the brim, next to the deep freezer. For any HBA products I store them in the cabinets under the bathroom sinks in the 2 bathrooms, and for toilet paper/paper towels, the excess I store them on shelves in the garage.

I have stuff all over the place. Recently I bought from a coworker a set of metal shelving and it is currently holding a bunch of cereal, gatorade (which is not a stockpile, the SO drinks it all the time, I have to try hard to keep enough around for a week for him), and there is now a rubbermade tote full of HBA stuff that didnt sell at the garage sale. Tp and deoderants and razors and laundry soap is in the bathroom. we are moving at some point this year so I need to stock up on rubbermade totes!
